The popular reality show, Bigg Boss OTT is back with yet another powerpack season. The show premiered on June 17, 2023, and this year, the show has a 'Strange House' theme. In the premiere episodes, the show's host, Salman Khan revealed the contestants of this season and well, the names of the participants will surely blow away your mind. The contestant's list includes some renowned names in the entertainment industry, including Bollywood actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's estranged wife, Aaliya Siddiqui. And before stepping inside the house, she opened up about her equation with Nawazuddin.
At the grand premiere of the popular reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 2, Salman Khan introduced Bollywood actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's ex-wife, Aaliya Siddiqui as the eighth contestant. Before going inside the 'Strange House', she splits some beans on her relationship with her ex-husband. Talking about the same, she revealed that it was Nawazuddin only, who encouraged her to do the show and focus on her career. Talking about how she wants to build her own career, Aaliya said:
"Nawaz said ki aap jao, mai baccho ko leke bahr jata hu, aap jao aur apna career start karo."

During the episode, the panellist asked some questions to Aaliya about her personal life and how she is planning to conduct herself in the show. On being asked about how she had posted some videos against her ex-husband, Nawazuddin and now, she is lauding him, Aaliya stated that they had been together for 19 years, and now after speaking up, she got respect and support from him that she didn't get earlier. In her words:
"19 sal humare rishte ko ho chuke. Mai hamesha apni khud ki soch ko dabati ayi thi. Aur ye stand mere lene ke bad ofcourse mujhe Nawaz ka bahut sari chijo me support ab mil raha hai jabki mujhe pehle milna chahiye tha."
On June 5, 2023, Aaliya had taken to her IG handle and dropped a picture with her new love. In the photo, she was seen having coffee as she posed for a selfie with the love of her life. She looked beautiful in a black-hued sleeveless t-shirt. She accentuated her look with subtle makeup, soft pink lips and hair tied. On the other hand, her beau twinned in a matching black-hued t-shirt. Alongside it, Aaliya penned a note and talked about how it took her nineteen years to come out of a relationship she valued the most. Her note could be read as:
"It has taken over 19 years to get out of the relationship that I treasured. But in my life, my children’s are my priority, they were always and they will be. However, there are few relationships that are bigger than and beyond friendship, and this relationship is the same relationship and I am very happy about the same hence shared my happiness with you all. Don’t I have the right to be happy?"

For the unversed, earlier, this year, Aaliya's ex-husband, Nawazuddin and his mother had a property dispute with her. They had accused Aaliya of trespassing on their property and even filed a case against her. After this, Aaliya accused her estranged and his mother of harassment. She shared a video on social media and revealed that she is only allowed to use the hall ever since they came from Dubai.
