A source revealed to PEOPLE that the baby was born last month, in August 2026. Notably, this is her first child with her partner, Tanguy Destable. She already has their children, a son named Aleph and a daughter named Amalia from her previous marriage to Benjamin Millepied.
Natalie had split with Benjamin after his affair came to light. However, many believe that Natalie was already aware of the affair before the news broke.

Just one day before her ex-husband, Benjamin Millepied's affair was exposed, Natalie Portman seemingly hinted at her marriage woes by taking to social media. For those unaware, Natalie is an avid reader. She gave her millions of followers a look at what she was reading, and many eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed that it was about a “grieving wife.” Alongside a photo of her head buried in the book, Natalie wrote in the caption:
“When X, a polarizing and elusive artist, drops dead in her office, her grieving wife sets out to uncover the truth of X’s life. Part narrative fiction, part fake biography - Catherine Lacey’s Biography of X already feels wholly original, and I can’t wait to discuss with you all. #JuneBookPick.”
While the post appeared pretty normal at first, it did not take long for fans to connect the dots when the news of her ex-husband, Benjamin Millepied's affair came to light a day later. This is what led many to believe that the actress had found out about Benjamin cheating on her, way before the fans did.
Natalie and Benjamin were married for 11 years. Despite being married for such a long time, they were one of the most private couples in Hollywood. The duo had reportedly separated a year before Benjamin was found having an affair with a young climate activist named Camille Etienne. At that time, French Magazine Voici published several images of Benjamin and Camille going into his office separately. After about two hours, they both left the building 10 minutes apart.
It is unclear when exactly Benjamin and Camille’s affair began. However, speaking about his relationship with Natalie, a source at that time had said:
“They have not split and are trying to work things out. Ben is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him. He loves her and their family.”

At the age of 45, Natalie Portman gave birth to her third child, her first with her partner, Tanguy Destable, in August 2026. The baby was reportedly born in Paris, where the actress currently lives with Tanguy.
For the unversed, Natalie Portman had first unveiled her pregnancy back in April 2026. At that time, the actress claimed that she and Tanguy were super excited to welcome the little one. She added that she was very grateful and that it was a privilege and a miracle to be expanding her family once again. During an interview, she stated:
“I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant. I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing. And so I know how lucky it is. I’m very aware, and I’m very grateful. I have deep appreciation and gratitude.”
