Nargis Fakhri is one of the most gorgeous actresses in Bollywood. The American-born Indian diva rose to fame with her debut film, Rockstar in 2011, which gave her widespread fame. Thereafter, Nargis became a part of some remarkable films, including Madras Cafe, Main Tera Hero, Spy, Azhar, Housefull 3 among others. Due to her incomparable beauty, Nargis has often been pulled into several link-up gossips with many actors from the film industry. And now, the diva opened up on whether any of it was true and the impact those had on her personal life.
In an interaction with Sidharth Kannan, Nargis Fakhri recalled her past and talked about a time when she was followed by a media frenzy, over her link-up rumours with actors like Shahid Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. The actress mentioned how she would wake up every morning to see some bizarre news about herself, along with contemporary actors, hinting at her dating them. Sharing how it impacted her as a person, Nargis revealed:
“I was linked with every other person in the film industry and it used to drive me insane. One time there was an article that said that I moved into Shahid Kapoor’s apartment and that my mom came down to meet him. People started messaging me, asking is your mom in town? And my mom never even came here. So, I had to get used to all of that.”

In the same conversation, Nargis then went on to talk about another episode in the past, where a female journalist made a very lewd comment about her, taking a cue from the frequent gossip of her link-ups with actors. Adding the kind of befitting response that she had told the woman, Nargis said:
“A reporter came up to me and said, how is it to be enjoying the B-town stars? She said it in a way that she was insinuating something. That was the time when all such articles were coming out. And I just told her, I am waiting for you to turn me into a lesbian, and her face dropped and she walked out. And then that was made into a headline and I got into trouble.”
For the unversed, Nargis Fakhri was secretly dating actor, Uday Chopra in 2013. However, by 2017, the couple called it quits. However, post her breakup, in an interview with The Times Of India, Nargis admitted having dated Uday and called him the most beautiful man she had ever met. Moreover, she also spilt beans on the reason behind keeping their relationship a secret and revealed that she was told by people around her to be quiet about it.

In the same interview, Nargis had mentioned how, after their breakup, she deeply regretted the decision to hide her relationship with Uday Chopra. The actress mentioned that the latter was a beautiful soul and to boast about dating him would have been something very special for her. In her words:
“I regret that because I should have shouted from the mountain tops that I was with such a beautiful soul. The internet and social media is very fake and the people out there won't know what the truth is. Most often we idolise certain people who are actually bad behind closed doors."
