Delhi-based influencer, Nancy Tyagi made it to the headlines with her self-made ensemble as she debuted on the red carpet of the esteemed Cannes Film Festival on May 17, 2024. The fashion creator made an extravagant ruffled gown from scratch and looked pretty in the pink attire. In an interview with Brut India, which has now gone viral on social media, Nancy said that she had never dreamt this big and has been feeling really good about being present at the film festival on the French Riviera. What caught everyone's attention was that the fashion creator did not shy away from speaking in Hindi.
On May 23, 2024, Nancy Tyagi took to her Instagram account once again and shared her much-awaited third look from the French Riviera. She opted for a black embellished cloth and turned it into a chic outfit comprising a backless corset top adorned with beaded strings and a long skirt featuring a tail. Nancy also added a feathered stole, which accentuated the beauty of her overall look.

Nancy accessorised her look with a beaded bag, danglers, and gloves. She opted for glam makeup, including perfectly lined eyes and nude lipstick, and used strings of beads to tie her hair. Revealing the making process of her third Cannes outfit, Nancy mentioned in the caption:
"Cannes Film Festival ka mera teesra outfit! Yeh mere dil ke bohot kareeb hai – ek corset, tail wali skirt aur stole ka perfect blend. Black ka elegance aur sleek look kuch aur hi hai. Yeh pura design maine khud banaya hai!"

On May 20, 2024, the fashion creator took to her Instagram account to share glimpses of another of her self-made ethereal attire. In the video post, Nancy revealed how she made her entire outfit from scratch, from sourcing the fabric to stitching every minute detail of her saree gown on her own. The fashion influencer's outfit also featured a backless hooded choli, which covered her head. Posting the reel, Nancy wrote:
“My second outfit from the Cannes Film Festival, which I wore at a special event, is another creation made entirely by me. This ensemble is a saree featuring intricate hand embroidery. Every piece was meticulously crafted and assembled by me.”

On May 18, 2024, Nancy shared the story behind the making of her ruffled gown with her 1.6 million Instagram followers. She revealed that it took her a month and 1000 metres of fabric to make her ‘dream come true’. Nancy further mentioned that it felt surreal to step onto the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival and thanked everyone for their immense support. She mentioned in the caption:
“Stepping onto the red carpet at the 77th Cannes Film Festival as a debutant feels surreal. I poured my heart and soul into creating this pink gown, which took 30 days, 1000 meters of fabric, and weighed over 20kg. The journey has been intense, but every moment was worth it. I'm overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for the love and support from all of you. This is a dream come true, and I hope my creation dazzles you as much as your support has inspired me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”
