Nakuul Mehta is known for his stint in popular television shows, including Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and Ishqbaaaz, among others. Coming to his personal life, Nakuul tied the knot with his ladylove, Jankee Parekh on January 28, 2012, after dating for a long period. They were blessed with a baby boy, on February 3, 2021, whom they lovingly named Sufi Mehta. Now, as Sufi turned a year older, his doting parents hosted a unique picnic-themed birthday bash, and the glimpses from the same are simply lovely.
Taking to their IG handle, Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Mehta shared a video in a collaborative post along with the IG handle of their son, Sufi. The video was from Sufi's 3rd birthday bash with the DIY old-school 90s-style garden picnic theme. Thus, the decor of the entire place reflected Sufi's interests and preferences, with the fun outdoor games and activities, small triangle flags, a popcorn corner and many such other delightful elements.

For the birthday bash, Nakuul looked dapper in a printed yellow shirt paired with beige-hued pants. On the other hand, Jankee looked gorgeous in a multi-hued cotton dress styled with subtle makeup and golden hoops. However, it was the birthday boy's looks that stole many hearts. Sufi looked adorable in a blue-hued cotton shirt paired with beige-hued half-pants. In another glimpse from the same event, Sufi was seen cutting a scrumptious chocolate cake.
Sufi's garden-themed picnic bash also showcased an array of fun activities to keep the guests and the birthday boy's friends completely entertained. We can spot the baby boy playing the music over there, dancing to the beats of many songs and enjoying outdoor games like the ring throw and others with his close ones.

Earlier, to mark World Breastfeeding Week, Jankee had shared some unseen pictures from her post-delivery moments in a collaborative post with the digital media website, SheThePeople. The pictures featured her flaunting her fully-grown baby bump, a few glimpses from inside the hospital room after she had delivered her baby boy, and many more cutesy moments of the mother-son duo.

Along with it, Jankee recalled her exhausting breastfeeding journey after Sufi's birth due to a lack of milk supply, fatigue and other hormonal conditions. She also mentioned how her condition gradually improved, and her refrigerator started filling with packets of breast milk, which she probably pumped out for her baby during busy schedules. Ultimately, Jankee revealed how breastfeeding bonded her with her then-newborn kid, and the mother-son duo formed an unbreakable bond.

In an old interview with Hindustan Times, Nakuul once talked about his parenting style. He shared that he would never want his son to be within the limits, which is typically referred to as masculinity, i.e., he would never ask Sufi not to cry like a girl. Further, Nakuul shared that he and his wife always let their son, Sufi express himself, which is quite visible in their social media posts. The actor also mentioned that he and his wife, Jankee want Sufi to know that both his papa and mumma can have work days and both can work hard. Having said that, Nakuul marked that he would never let his son be influenced by the stereotypes that ask women in society to be restricted.
