Mahendra Singh Dhoni is hailed as a legend in the world of cricket. The entire nation worships him and waits anxiously to see him on the cricket field yet everyone craves to get a glimpse of his family life. It was in the year 2010 when Dhoni had tied the knot with the love of his life, Sakshi in an intimate ceremony. In a HotStar documentary, Roar of the Lion, Dhoni had shared that his wife has contributed hugely in the success of his cricketing career. He had stated that she has supported him in every possible way she can.
Currently, Dhoni is spending quality time with Sakshi, his daughter, Ziva and his in-laws. On January 8, 2020, Sakshi took to her Instagram handle and shared pictures from their snow-filled vacation. In one of the pictures, we can see Sakshi and Dhoni clearing their terrace from all the snow. Along with it, she wrote, "Fam-Jam! My favourites at the best spot for snowfall!"
On January 5, 2020, we had seen cute pictures of Dhoni's daughter, Ziva enjoying the snow. Her official Instagram handle which is managed by Dhoni and Sakshi had posted a couple of pictures from Ziva's first snowfall experience. In the pictures, we could see Ziva enjoying the view with her pet dog. The pictures were captioned as "First snowfall experience for papa and me." Sakshi had also shared a video of Mahhi making a snowman for his little girl, Ziva. She had captioned the video as "Holiday mode."
Dhoni is a wonderful father, who makes sure to spend quality time with his daughter, Ziva. In an interview with The Print, Dhoni had talked about the changes Ziva brought into his life, and had shared, “It is a very different feeling, and I personally find it very difficult to put it in words. It is more of an emotion, and I feel I have not really missed a lot of things in life, but after a while when I am outside, after a few days, I actually start missing Ziva. Not to the extent that it starts bothering my cricket and all, but it is the first time ever when I feel, maybe I should Facetime to see what she is really doing." For those who don't know, MS Dhoni and Sakshi both hail from Ranchi and were in the same school and their fathers were working for the same company. And before Cupid could do his work, Sakshi's family got shifted to Dehradun. But as we say true love knows how to find its way and that's what happened. They met again after a decade in Kolkata at Taj Bengal (where Sakshi was doing her internship), during Team India's stay in November-December, 2007. Rest as we say, is history!
