Mrunal Thakur is one of the most sought-after actresses in the film industry. Her role as 'Sita' in the film, Sita Ramam, garnered her much-needed recognition, and she also won the award for Best Actress (Critics) and Best Debut in Telugu Cinema at the SIIMA Awards 2023. Currently, Mrunal is busy promoting her upcoming film, Aankh Micholi, co-starring Abhimanyu Dassani. However, she is dominating the headlines because of exciting details about her personal front.
According to a report in News18, Mrunal Thakur is head over heels in love with a Telugu actor. Though the details of the discreet love affair are not known yet, it is speculated that the actress can tie the nuptial knot with him soon. While the news has sent shockwaves in the film industry, Mrunal's massive fanbase is waiting with bated breath for the official announcement. However, Mrunal Thakur hasn't reacted to the ongoing speculations, leaving her fans anxious and excited at the same time.

Meanwhile, producer, Allu Aravind also indirectly hinted about Mrunal Thakur's wedding and talked about it at an award function. As he graced the stage to present the Best Female Actor award to Mrunal for her acting spree in the film, Sita Ramam, he blessed the actress to get married soon. Not just this, Allu Aravind also hinted at the possibility of Mrunal settling in Hyderabad post-wedding and said:
“I want her to settle down in Hyderabad.”
During an interview with India Today, Mrunal Thakur was asked about her marriage plans and if her family is looking for an ideal groom for her. To this, she immediately nodded in affirmation and mentioned that there had been a lot of pressure from her family to get married. However, Mrunal hinted that they were having a hard time finding the perfect match for her. She was heard saying:
"Koi mile bhi toh."

Earlier, in a conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, Mrunal Thakur opened up about her idea of love and relationships. The actress shared that she was dating a guy, but they had broken up in August 2021. Mrunal also revealed that the reason behind her breakup with her ex-lover was the fact that she was an actress and he was uncomfortable with her profession and her impulsive nature. Reflecting on the same, Mrunal had said:
"He ran away. He was like, 'You are too impulsive, I can't deal with this', 'You're an actress, I can't deal with this.' But I understand where he is coming from - a very orthodox background. And I don't blame him, I think it's his upbringing. In a way, it's good that the chapter ended. Because in the future, when we raise our kids, his upbringing would not be the same as my upbringing towards my kids… The kids would be like, 'Uh, kya ho raha hai."
On the work front, Mrunal Thakur has much-anticipated projects like Hi Nanna and Family Star in the pipeline.
