To pamper the mommy-to-be in her last trimester, her family and friends ensure to plan a grand baby shower for her, where all that matters is the mommy and the baby. Colourful themes, baby-related props, pretty cakes, yummy food and lots of gossips is what makes for a perfect baby shower. Earlier, the mommy-to-be, Aditi had shared glimpses of how the expecting parents had prepared for Aditi’s godh bharai rasam. Taking to her IG handle, Aditi had shared a series of stories, where we could see their house being decorated with genda phool, Aditi’s hands and feet being beautified by henna and Mohit pampering himself with some homemade face pack.
Now, the pictures of Aditi's baby shower are all over the internet, with the mommy-to-be dazzling in three godh bharai looks. From a traditional Marathi green saree for puja to a white and orange kurta set for the cake cutting ceremony and a floral flowy dress for the after-party late at night. While everything about Aditi's baby shower was all about love, it was Mohit's intention to be a part of his wife's godh bharai rasam that caught our attention. Yes, a friend of Mohit hailed him for his decision of not letting godh bharai a rasam only for women as he equally participated in the ritual. Mohit re-shared his friend's story on his IG stories, where the husband-wife can be seen twinning in traditional Marathi outfits as he said something in his pregnant wife's ear. Along with it, his friend wrote, "When Mohit insists why is godh bharai only for women... Why not for men. Love you both" followed by four heart emoticons atop it.
Mohit was in Delhi a few days back, to attend his sister's wedding. In a conversation with The Times Of India, he talked about how difficult it was for him to leave his pregnant wife, Aditi back at home. He shared that he discussed his stay in Delhi with Aditi and also took all the necessary precautions as he knew he could be the carrier of the virus for the family. He said, "I am being told that I might be the carrier, so I am also taking precautions and I wear a mask whenever I am out. I also isolated myself when I reached Mumbai before I finally met Addite, I didn’t want to take any risk."
Mohit also talked about how he is preparing for parenthood and plans to be with Aditi in the last days of her pregnancy. Sharing that he wishes to keep himself free for 25 days at least, he said, "“Being a parent needs a lot of preparation and Addite and I are working on ourselves to do the best that we can as parents. I am also sure that I want to focus just on family in coming months. Therefore, whenever I am being approached for work now, I have been telling them that I can take up something for now, but in after a month or two, I just want to be with Addite. I want to keep myself absolutely free for around 25 days in coming months. If I get to work with someone who is okay with that, I will take up something."
To announce the biggest ‘good news’ of their lives, Mohit had posted a beautiful picture with Aditi and had written, “As I place my hand on you...I say thankyou... for choosing us! Thankyou lord for this beautiful awakening experience which we are through right now. Thankyou thankyou thankyou so happy to share this with everyone. As we grow from 2 to 3. It makes my belief even stronger that we are 1. Love #blessed #oneness #shukr #gratitude #grateful #blessed #newdawn #love.” Aditi, on the other hand, had posted three solo pictures, flaunting her baby bump and had captioned them as “God knew even before we knew that we needed you..Our souls met.. Let’s grow together.. Baby Malik”, “Waheguru” and “Time to grow up @mohitmalik1113 #BabyMalik.”
Aditi has been sharing her pregnancy diary on her IG handle every now and then. A few days back, Aditi had shared her ‘first kick’ experience on her IG handle. She had shared a picture, where she could be seen wearing a black and white polka dot dress and kind of hugging herself, laughing. It had felt like she had just loved what she had experienced at that moment and indeed, she would have as in her caption she had shared her first kick experience. Sharing the cute picture, she had written, “LOVE AT FIRST KICK.”
