Mohit Malik and his darling wife, Addite Shirwaikar Malik are one of the most loved couples of the showbiz world. The duo tied the knot on December 1, 2010. After that, they welcomed their baby boy, Ekbir Malik, during the lockdown on April 27, 2021. Every now and then, Ekbir's doting parents take to their respective IG handles and provide us with a glimpse of their dream-like marital life and parenthood journey. Recently, in an interview, Mohit opened up about his decision of getting married at the age of 27.
In a recent interview with the Bombay Times, Mohit Malik shared that he is selective about the kind of work he wants. Talking about the same, the actor shared that he wanted to do TV only after lockdown when there was a good script. The actor also mentioned what he prefers to do when he is not working. Talking about the same, he mentioned that when he doesn't shoot, he loves travelling with his wife, Addite, and his son, Ekbir. He shared how much travelling is needed to get away from Mumbai's hustle-bustle. Mohit said he loves to explore new places and do fun things with his son. The actor can be quoted as saying:
"After Lockdown... I wanted to do TV only if there was a great script. When I am not shooting, I enjoy travelling with my family because it is important to get away from the fast paced life of Mumbai and rejuvenate. Ekbir is growing up now and I like to explore new places and do fun things with him.”

In the same interview, Mohit Malik shared that it is important for a woman not to be pressured to get married, regardless of their age. Talking about his marital life with Addite Shirwaikar Malik, Mohit mentioned that he got married when he was 27 years old and was not even settled. The actor stated that it was the best decision of his life to get married. Mohit mentioned that finding a partner or being with them has nothing to do with age. He further added that what is important is to find the right partner with whom one can go through the ups and downs in life. Mohit stated:
"It is important for women to not be under any pressure to marry regardless of their age. I got married when I was only 27 and I was not even settled. But, it was the best decision. Age doesn’t matter, it’s about finding someone who is right for you. It’s about finding a good life partner with whom you can go through the ups and downs of life."
Last year reports were rife that Mohit Malik and his wife, Addite, were expecting their second son soon. However, Mohit shut down all such rumours with a note, which he dropped on his IG story, mentioning that all such news was untrue.

For the uninformed, Mohit Malik was last seen in the TV show, Lockdown Ki Love Story in 2021, and since then, he has been doing web series. Currently, the actor is all set to be seen in the lead role in Rajan Shahi’s show, Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si.
