Avinash Sachdev has been dominating all the headlines for a long time after he entered the strange house of Bigg Boss OTT 2. For the uninformed, Avinash recently expressed his feelings for his co-contestant, Falaq Naaz. However, the actress didn't say yes or no to the same. Amid all these, a report claimed that Avinash earlier was in a short-term relationship with Falaq's sister, Shafaq. Recently, in an interview, Shafaq talked about the bonding between Avinash and her sister, Falaq.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Shafaq Naaz was asked if she considers Avinash Sachdev to be the man of Falaq's dreams. In response, Shafaq mentioned that she doesn't think so. Shafaq added that Avinash is a very good friend, and Falaq finds peace around Avinash and can be herself in front of him. The actress mentioned that everyone needs to have a bond to be in that house, or else no one can survive. Talking about the relationship part, Shafaq mentioned that as far as she knows her sister, she is sure that Falaq won't do anything about it. Mentioning the rest is up to her, Shafaq stated:
"I genuinely don’t think. He is very good as a friend. They have a good bond, and she is more relaxed when she is with him. She gets peace, and she can be herself when she is with Avinash, and it is very important to survive in the Bigg Boss house. You have to have a bond. As that, I don’t think. As far as I know my sister, I don’t think she will do anything about it. But rest is up to her."

Earlier, a report by ETimes claimed that Avinash was once in a short-lived relationship with Shafaq Naaz. A source told Etimes that Avinash and Shafaq fell in love with each other while shooting the title song of the television series, Teri Meri Love Stories. As per the source, the duo was in a relationship for six months, and then Avinash backed out eventually. The source also mentioned that they are unsure whether Falaq is aware of the same.
For the unversed, in an episode of BB OTT 2, Avinash could be seen telling Falaq that he likes her. Sharing the details about the same, the actor mentioned it began in the second week of the show, which later blossomed into something deeper. As per Avinash, Falaq told him that she is not interested in dating anyone now and her priority is elsewhere.

In an interview with ETimes, Falaq's mom, Kehekshan talked about the former's bonding with Avinash Sachdev. Talking about the same, the doting mother mentioned that she and her family are proud of Falaq and are confident about the latter's decision, so whatever the actress believes is right, she can do it.
Talking about Avinash's bonding with Falaq, Kehekshan shared that she thinks the actor to be trustworthy. She shared that in her point of view, the friendship Falaq made inside the show is for real. Kehekshan added that she has seen Avinash being patient and loyal to his co-contestant, Jiya Shankar.
