Mira Rajput Kapoor is currently taking her ‘100 days of walking challenge’ and guess who accompanied her to the beach on January 24, 2019? It was her baby doll, Misha Kapoor and a little ball of mush, Zain Kapoor. But they weren’t the only ones who gave Mira company. Abhishek Kapoor’s Swedish wife, Pragya Kapoor and her two munchkins, 3-year-old, Isaana and 5-month-old, Shamsher, joined Mira and her little ones at the Juhu beach. While the two toddlers enjoyed their time playing with sand, soaking in the sun, cuddling a puppy, their newborn siblings played in their cribs. Shahid and Mira were blessed with their second child, a son whom they named Zain Kapoor on September 5, 2018. And ever since, the Kapoor-Rajput clan is on cloud nine. In October, Mira treated her fans with a picture of their two little munchkins in one frame together. Mira posted an Insta story of 'big sister', Misha standing by her baby brother's crib and the two are sharing their own lovely moment together. Shahid Kapoor created a storm on media and cyberspace when in 2015, he had announced his wedding with Delhi-based girl, Mira Rajput. Shahid and Mira have a huge age gap of 13 years and despite their marriage of four years now, their age gap is still a point of discussion whenever they give media interviews.
In a recent interview too, Shahid was asked about how Mira took up the mantle of motherhood at such a young age. To which he replied, "My understanding of her is that she is very mature, deep down. Otherwise, she would not have been able to deal with all that has happened with her life. I mean she was just turning 21 when we got married." When the interviewer called Shahid a 'cradle snatcher', he agreed to the same and added, “Absolutely! You know, I am. I can’t run away from it. So it is what it is."
In the same interview, Shahid was also asked who he would have married if not Mira. To which, Shahid retorted, "Someone older." When further probed if he said it because that's the current trend, Shahid said he meant someone older than Mira, not older than him.
In an interview after Zain’s birth, Shahid Kapoor’s mother, Neelima Azeem revealed how Misha reacted on being promoted as a ‘big sister’ and the arrival of her little sibling. Neelima ji had stated, "It is definitely a sweet and exciting part in her life. Now, she has got a brother and a companion. Misha is basically a very soft and tender child. She is full of energy and fun, there is a lot of sweetness in her. Even when she goes to the beach, she will play with the puppies and babies there.. she is like that with everyone and now it is her own brother. But, of course, it is a little emotional adjustment for all the children so that will happen. But I think her parents are handling that very beautifully. They are balancing the act nicely.
