Since their arranged marriage in 2015, he has been acing his hubby duties like a pro. The gorgeousness had turned a year wiser on September 7, 2022, and Shahid had hosted a neon-themed intimate birthday bash in Mumbai to celebrate the birth of his ladylove. They twinned in their respective black outfits for the party night and oozed major couple goals.

On September 11, 2022, Shahid Kapoor took to his IG handle and dropped a Reel, featuring sneak peeks from his wifey, Mira Rajput’s neon-themed 28th birthday. In the video, Mira was seen stunningly dancing with her friends, while Shahid was jumping all over the dance floor. Earlier, Shahid Kapoor had graved Newyork IIFA award function with Mira Rajput in 2017. During the event, Shahid was asked by one of the hosts about the naughtiest thing he had done when he was 18 years old. To which, the actor stated that when he was 18, he did not know that he would marry a girl who was just 5 years old at that time. Shahid could be quoted as saying:
“At the age of 18, I had no idea that I will be married to a girl who was five years old when I was 18. I guess that's the naughtiest thing I have done.”

Shahid never restricted himself from splurging money on shopping. But, after marriage, he changed and became a responsible family man. In an old interview with Curly Tales, the actor had agreed on the same and had said how he takes permission from Mira and their kids, Misha and Zain before spending money on something. In his words:
“I would spend all out before but now I am a family man. Mere do bacche hai aur biwi hai. Unse permission leni padti hai. Sochna padta hai.”
