On July 7, 2015, the chocolate boy of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor got married to Delhi-based Mira Rajput in an arranged marriage. Mira had become the talk of the town and every girl dreamt of a life like hers. With time, Mira has beautifully made a place for herself in the world of glamour and has created her own identity. The adorable couple is proud parents to two little munchkins, Misha and Zain.
Shahid and Mira have an age gap of 13-years and despite that, the duo has created a benchmark for couple goals. After Shahid and Mira's intimate Gurudwara wedding, the two had walked hand-in-hand to pose for the paparazzi. The handsome actor had introduced his better half to the world with an adorable picture with the caption, "#hitched".

On April 5, 2022, Mira Rajput took to her IG handle and posted a video of Shahid being in his dramatic self. In the video, Shahid can be heard saying dialogues like 'Aaj Khush Toh Bahut Hogi Tum' and 'Apna Time Aayega’. Revealing what she deals with before every movie release of Shahid, the doting wife, Mira captioned the video as:
"Honey, revenge with a side of sweet #served. What I have to deal with before every release #tock. Award for best lighting goes to #notme."
Mira Rajput often posts glimpses of her marital bliss. On November 19, 2021, she had taken to her IG handle and had shared a mushy picture with Shahid. In the picture, we could see Mira holding Shahid's hand, with her head on his shoulder as they had posed for the camera. While Mira had looked stunning in a rust-coloured dress with white floral print, the actor had looked dapper in his white T-shirt, a jacket and military green-coloured baggies. Giving a reference to Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Mira had captioned the picture as:
''Shall we frame this in life size for the living room while I fix your tie on a stool? #parampara”.

A few months back, Shahid had posted a picture of Mira on his IG story, flashing her brightest smile. Atop the picture, he had written, "Wake up @mira.kapoor". Reposting the picture on her IG story, Mira had added, "Ways to say good morning".
Shahid Kapor and Mira keep up with the millennial trend of tagging or sending DMs to one another. Sharing a glimpse of Shahid's mushy side, Mira had posted a screenshot of the post he had sent to her on DM, dedicating the songs, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas and Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein, to her. As Mira could not stop gushing over Shahid's romantic gesture, she had written, "#DMsfromthehusband" followed by a kiss emoji.
On the work front, Shahid's much-awaited film, Jersey is slated to release on April 14, 2022.
