Mira Rajput Kapoor Trolled For Leaving Her 'Puppies' Misha Kapoor And Zain Kapoor Home And Go To Gym

Who can forget “my child is not a puppy” controversy of Shahid Kapoor’s more-than-just-a-star-wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor? When Shahid and Mira appeared on Koffee With Karan, they became the perfect ambassadors for arranged marriages in this day and age. But this also became the reason of Mira and Shahid being criticised for promoting arranged marriages and having children at an early age. Later, Mira again became a huge victim of trolls as she had clearly stated in one of her interviews about balancing the responsibility of a child and work and putting family before career. (Also Read: Varun Dhawan's Parents Don't Agree On This One Thing About His And Natasha Dalal's Wedding)

What seems like the people refuse to forget Mira Rajput Kapoor's 'puppy' statement, on a Women's Day interaction, wherein she had stated, “I can raise my daughter, be a good wife, and set up my home the way I like. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I wouldn’t want to spend one hour a day with my child and then rush off to work. Why did I have her then? She is not a puppy. I want to be there for her as a mother. Seeing her grow up cannot be quantified." Within no time, Mira received a lot of backlashes, especially from working women who leave their kids at home to go and work, and they don't treat their children like 'puppies'.

To give a recap, Mira Rajput Kapoor spoke about her choice to be a home-maker and had stated earlier, “I am a homemaker and I wear this label with pride. I had a tough pregnancy and I went through those difficult five months to bring my daughter into this world. And now I want to spend every moment I can with her. People can say what they feel and it gives everyone the right to express themselves the way they want and to what extent they feel like. So, there will be opinions. It's not that everyone is going to love you. I have always spoken for myself and I have never shied away from expressing what I truly feel.”

Mira Rajput Kapoor went on to say, “It’s not something new for me. Nowadays, people receive backlash for whatever they do or say. It is the way the internet is. At some level, it is a bit sad.” Mira further shared nervousness while shooting for the ad, and said, “I won't lie, I was very nervous because doing an ad was completely out of my comfort zone. But I think what put me at ease was the nature of the ad, which was very conversational with real experiences. It was something I have already been through. I felt that I was just talking about something that I have gone through myself and from my own point of view. The natural synergy put me at ease.” (Also Read: Jackie Shroff On Tiger Shroff And Disha Patani's Relationship, Says They Might Get Married In Future)
