In an interview with Vogue, Mira Rajput Kapoor shared that her husband, Shahid Kapoor has the largest collection of bags in their household and he inspires her to opt for quality over quantity when it comes to fashion. She said, "Shahid has more bags than I do! He has a refined fashion sensibility and a keen eye, so he’s always buying these really interesting pieces."
Going further in the interview, Mira Rajput Kapoor also talked about one of her Louis Vuitton bags that she wanted to pass on to her daughter, Misha Kapoor as she is very fond of her bags. She told the publication, “I am conscious about what I'm buying and how long it will last. Everyone has their own approach to sustainability. For me, it’s through the things that I buy. It needs to be multifunctional and relevant even decades later. I'm a nostalgic person with an affinity for vintage fashion, so it will be special to pass this bag to my daughter who can make her own memories with it too. She’s already been waddling around with my bags since before she could walk!”

On August 26, 2021, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput's little munchkin, Misha Kapoor had turned five and the doting mommy had taken to her IG stories to pen a heartmelting wish for her. Mira had written, "Our life began to play technicolour when you were born my darling Misha. Keep shining, be happy and reach for the stars and the rainbows. You are the light of our lives sweetheart. The Lord's grace in abundance and love forever. Mumma and Papa."
Mira Rajput Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor had celebrated their little princess, Misha's fifth birthday in Jalandhar and had got the best cakes for her birthday. They got two unique rainbow cakes for their daughter, Misha. The cakes had icing in rainbow colours. It also had beautiful butterflies and Misha's name over it. The Kitchenette had also shared a picture of the return gift from Misha along with a cute card.
