For the unversed, it was on March 2, 2021, when Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai had announced that they're expecting their first child. The couple had posted a romantic picture from the beach. While Kishwer had captioned her post as "You can now stop asking, 'When are you guys gonna have a baby?' Coming soon ... #august2021 #sukishkababy." Suyyash had taken the filmy route and had captioned the picture as "Mai tere bacche ka baap banne wala hun, Kishwer! Coming this August."

On August 27, 2021, Suyyash Rai took to his Instagram handle and shared the much-awaited picture of his wife, Kishwer Merchantt, holding their first baby in her arms. In the picture, the newbie parents looked super-happy, as they can be seen cherishing the priceless moment of holding their baby for the first time. Along with this memorable picture, Suyyash penned a caption in which he revealed that it's a boy. His caption can be read as "27.08.21 Welcome BABY RAI !!! It's a boy #SukishKaBaby." Suyyash's doting sister, Shruti Rai also dropped a lovely picture of the newborn baby's nursery in which we can also spot his little hand. Along with the picture, Shruti wrote, "New Aunt Alert The dude is here @suyyashrai @kishwersmerchantt #sukishkababy" in the caption.
On June 24, 2021, Kishwer Merchantt had a lavish baby shower, and her nanad, Shruti had shared beautiful glimpses from the same. During the 8th month of her pregnancy, on July 17, 2021, Kishwer Merchantt and her nanad, Shruti Rai and her trainer, Wilson, had tried the viral dance trend. In the video, Kishwer could be seen wearing a black shirt dress and red sunglasses as she had followed the dance steps of her trainer. Her nanad, Shruti, then copied Kishwer's dance steps. However, it was the mommy-to-be's goofed-up steps that had made the video quite fun to watch. In June 2021, Kishwer Merchantt was 7 months pregnant. Her nanad, Shruti Rai had pampered her with delicious food as she had sent her chicken biryani.
