Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor are one of the most adorable couples in Tinseltown. And even though Mira doesn’t belong to the entertainment industry, she has become quite popular as a social media influencer, ever since she got married to Shahid Kapoor.
Shahid and Mira never fail to get attention from their fans, and they make sure to keep them updated by giving glimpses of their lives. The couple often shares cutesy pictures on their respective IG handles and doesn’t shy away from flaunting their mushy PDAs. And this time they have garnered a lot of attention after Mira Rajput Kapoor revealed a sweet secret in one of her interviews.

Mira Rajput Kapoor reveals that one of her best friends had a crush on her actor-husband, Shahid Kapoor, when she was young. The mother-of-two also said that she has known the friend since they were in college together. In an interview with Curly Tails, Mira Rajput was asked if she ever developed a crush on her actor-husband, Shahid Kapoor after watching him on screen. To which she replied:
“My best friend had a crush on Shahid. So when I told her that this is happening (the wedding) and she's like, 'Oh my god' because she used to tell me before also that she has a crush on Shahid. Obviously, it didn't strike me he was no one in my life at that time. But she's like 'Do you know I had a crush on him when I was in school' because we are college friends. And it was fun.”

Further in the interview, Mira Rajput added that they still laugh over it. She and Shahid Kapoor also met her best friend and her husband recently. Mira also revealed that sometime back, she and Shahid were stationed in Punjab due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Initially, they had planned on taking a break from the city with their kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, but ended up staying back in Punjab due to the lockdown. Talking about the same, she said:
“We moved just days before the lockdown happened. We kinda felt like maybe we should take off for a little while. I thought we were moving away for two weeks till things settle down. Now nobody knew that things would take two years to settle down."
Mira Rajput Kapoor, further shared that their stay in Amritsar was lovely since her parents also stayed nearby. She had said:
"So we've been here (Amritsar) ever since. It's been lovely because my parents are nearby and my in-laws have a home near so the kids are literally hopping and skipping from one home to another so it's great.”
There is no doubt that the couple immensely loves each other. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor never miss a chance to appreciate each other and often share mushy pictures on social media. On October 19, 2021, Mira Rajput Kapoor, had taken to her Instagram handle to share a picture of her hubby, Shahid Kapoor from their Maldives vacation. In the picture, we could see Shahid swearing a white shirt under the moonlight. Along with the picture, Mira had written a sweet note, which could be read as:
"Each night the Moon kisses secretly the Lover who counts the stars #Rumi #fullmoon with the love of my life."
For the unversed, Mira Rajput Kapoor had tied the marital knot with Shahid Kapoor on July 7, 2015, in an intimate Gurudwara wedding. The couple is blessed with two adorable children, a daughter named Misha Kapoor and a son named Zain Kapoor.
On the professional front, Shahid Kapoor will be next seen in the film, Jersey, co-starring Mrunal Thakur.
