To fight the monotony of our day-to-day lifestyle, social media not only entertains us by being a platform to socialise with our loved ones and admiring the lovely posts of our favourite celebrities, but it also comes up with different challenges and creative trends. Every now and then, we see different challenges on social media, for example, #FliptheSwitch, #DontRushChallenge, #TheGestureChallenge, #OhNaNaNaChallenge, LinkedIn-Facebook-Instagram-Tinder challenge, 10-year challenge and a lot more, taking the internet by storm. Before moving on to that, let’s take a recap of how Mira Rajput Kapoor had wished her ‘baby’, Shahid Kapoor on his 40th birthday on February 25, 2021. Mira had posted a twinning-in-blue loved-up selfie with Shahid, as she gave him a sweet peck on his cheeks while posing for the camera. Wishing Shahid on his birthday, Mira had written, “I like me better when I’m with you Happy 40th to the love of my life. Any wiser and I’m in trouble. Lucky me you don’t look it and lucky you, I don’t show it. I love you baby.” Mira had also posted a black-and-white pool picture of Shahid, raising the hotness quotient, and captioned the post as "Shine on. Be one with the Light."
So, to give you a brief about what the ‘Center of Gravity’ challenge is, it is very simple as a woman and a man record themselves as they get down on the floor on all fours. From their forearms resting on the floor, they move to their elbows with their faces resting on their hands. Then, quickly they clasp their hands at the back and mostly, the men end up hilariously face-planting and the women hold themselves up. But that wasn’t the case with Shahid Kapoor as he managed to hold himself up and win the ‘Center of Gravity’ challenge. Shahid took up the challenge with his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor and she gave a glimpse of how he nailed it. Sharing the video, Mira wrote, “Always up for a challenge, Mr Kapoor. You’re a smooth operator. Nailed it,” followed by a kiss emoji. Ishaan Khatter commented on the post, “I did it too.”
A few days ago, Mira Rajput Kapoor had posted an IG story, revealing the good morning messages her hubby, Shahid Kapoor sends her. Mira had reposted a video from the Instagram page, Pubity, which was titled “Flinching at my wife and kids to see their reaction.” Mira had written, “Good morning messages from the hub @shahidkapoor” followed by a speechless emoji. During the 2020 lockdown, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor had painted the social media red with their love. Shahid had posted a goofy video with Mira, as he called her ‘sexy’ and her reaction to it was every annoyed wife ever! Shahid had captioned the video as “We grow wiser and more mature with each passing day in #quarantine.” Mira had commented on his post, “Revenge is in the mail.”
This isn’t the first time when Mira Rajput Kapoor has praised Shahid Kapoor as time and again, she pens laudable notes for him. When Shahid’s film, Haider had made it to the list of Top 10 Hamlets in the world, Mira had uploaded a series of stills from the film and hailed for her star husband. Mira had captioned her post as "Hum hain, ki hum nahin. To be, or not to be #Haider #Hamlet @shahidkapoor." For the unversed, Shahid and Tabu starrer Haider, written, produced and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is a modern-day adaptation of William Shakespeare's tragedy, Hamlet. While Haider had already acclaimed admiration of the audience, the team had another reason to rejoice when it made it to the list of Top 10 Hamlets in the world.
