Remember the good old 90s summer vacations? When video games were life and we ruled the night, watching Harry Potter films on repeat and eating our favourite ice-creams. But above all, we all waited to finally meet our nanis and spent the rest of the holidays at her home as she used to pamper us the most. Uhmm, those were the days! And Shahid Kapoor's daughter, Misha Kapoor made us remember it as she spends her summer at her nani's place. Before we take you further into the story, let us take a look a look at Mira Rajput Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's parenting guide. These two have been making headlines ever since they tied the knot. They are parents of two lovely kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor. From colouring their daughter's hair to jumping on the trampoline, they are setting new parental goals for all of us.
Currently, Mira is at her parent's home in Delhi with her daughter, Misha, and they are having a blast. On June 29, 2019, she took to her Instagram handle and shared a story of Misha playing in a baby pool at her nani's place. She captioned the picture as, "Nani house pool party." A couple of days ago, Mira had shared another cute picture of Misha as her Instagram story, wherein, we spotted the Barbie doll wearing the 90's alligator clips.
We love how Mira is managing her two munchkins and showing off her mommy power. Earlier, in an interview, she had shared how she is managing it all. She had stated, "This time I already have a toddler around and keeping a balance between the one you have and the one that’s on its way is very important. Everything changes, and you don’t want that the one who has been the apple of your eyes for so long and feels that she’s the centre of your world to feel neglected and ignored. And while she is playing the cool parent, the star wife often gets trolled and judged for her choices. In an interview with the IANS, she had reacted on being trolled for colouring her daughter, Misha's hair. She had shared, "It wasn't a colour. It was a regular paint. She just had a nice time and I think it's just about letting your children be creative, letting them be free and letting them have a good time. I think it doesn't make sense to get serious about everything."
It just not Mira, who is doing her best for the kids, Shahid also does his best when it comes to their kids. In an interview, he had talked about his paternity leave, and had revealed, "I’ve spent a lot of time with Misha. I took six-month paternity leave. I did it more for myself than her. I didn’t want to miss out on the experience. People cautioned me that it was not a good decision. That I’d be out of the limelight. But being an actor I’m a freelancer. I change her diapers, I give her bottle feeds. I fed her first solids. I enjoy hanging with her when she moves in the walker. I like looking at her when she rolls around."
He had further added, "I was both ecstatic and scared. I began thinking of Mira’s father and how he must have felt when he gave away his baby, his daughter to this strange guy, an actor from Mumbai with a ponytail and coloured hair, who perhaps thought he was a ‘cool dude’. I called him up instantly and apologised if I had troubled him at any point. I may have overlooked his point of view somewhere, regarding something which may have been important to him, This realisation came when I held a baby girl in my hands when I felt vulnerable. I don’t want anything to go wrong with her ever. I guess, being a man I always thought of as a man. But holding a baby girl gave me a new perspective. It changes everything."
