Milind Soman's Ex- Shahana Goswani Admits Being In Open Relationship, Having Many Partners, 'Casual'

Milind Soman's ex-Shahana Goswami has been best known for her roles in movies such as- Heroine, Zwigato and Santosh. Recently, she opened up about her not-so-conventional approach towards love and relationships. The actress revealed that she is in an open relationship and does not have any primary partner as such in her life. Milind Soman's ex, Shahana Goswami, revealed in an interview with Siddharth Kannan that conventional relationships were not at all made for her. After her breakup with Milind, she felt that the traditional relationship formula did not make any sense to her. Shahana shared that when she met restaurateur, Mauro Gazzi, she decided to approach relationships very differently and came to love being in open relationships. It did not have any rules, labels and explaining what it meant, she said:

"It means open and honest communication with whoever you are with, being able to truly understand what kind of person your partner is and working on yourself. At this point, I don’t even have one primary partner like that. I have many people with whom I have long-standing dynamics, but it’s not casual. None of it is casual for me."

Milind Soman's ex-Shahana Goswami further revealed that open relationships are like friendships. She shared that people have a set of many friends, and there is a varied dynamic with every friend. Shahana shared that for her at this point, openness means there’s no clear-cut partnership with anyone, but there is this feeling of long-term bonding and connection that stays with. Even if it does not take any form. In her words:

"Sometimes it’s just friendship. Sometimes it might be physical too. There’s no need to force it into some specific direction. The baseline is simple: love and friendship. I have so much love to give, then why should I give to just one person?"

The actress revealed that she has not hidden anything in her life from her set of partners. She keeps things open with her intimate partners or when bonding with others. Workwise, the actress was last seen in Despatch that released in 2024. Kanu Behl had directed the crime drama, which was produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP Movies. Despatch, apart from Shahana, also had actor Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role, and the film got mixed reviews. She has reportedly not yet announced her new project. For those who do not know, the actress was in her 20's when she fell in love with Milind Soman, who was 43. Well, for six years, both of them had just conversed over like text and letters.

The actress had revealed in the interview that she and Milind were very much in love, but their timing was not correct. She confessed to being a stalker fan when she first saw him on the movie screen. Shahana, who loves to live life on her own way, revealed being mesmerised by Milind. In her words:

"When I was 16–17 years old, I was in Delhi and one of Milind's films had released. My school friends and I went to see that film. I also thought, why are we going to watch a model's film? It would have very bad acting, but I was mesmerised by Milind in the film."
