The man with the Greek god looks who rose to fame with Made In India song, Milind Soman, it seems has been engaged for quite some time now. At least that’s what a post shared by his girlfriend, Ankita Konwar suggests.
Ankit took to her Instagram yesterday, i.e. April 09, 2018 and shared a picture of her holding Milind’s hands, and guess what! There is an engagement ring! In fact, Ankita captioned it, “I don't want to know what it's like to live without you, don't want to know the other side of a world without you.” Well, this definitely means that Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar’s engagement did happen, right?
However, it must be mentioned here that this is not the first time that the couple has shared their engagement ring pictures. When we trace their Instagram accounts, the very first sign of Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar’s engagement dates back to October 03, 2016. Ankita had shared the following picture and captioned it, "Someone wise said, forever isn't time but forever is You and I."
In fact, a year later, Ankit shared another such picture, and captioned it, "Oh could I flow like thee, and make thy stream, My great example, as it is my theme! Though deep yet clear, though gentle yet not dull; Strong without rage, without overflowing full."
Though neither Milind nor Ankita has come out in the public and spoken about their engagement, it would not be any surprise if they do. After all, the 52-year-old actor has been dating 26-year-old Ankita for quite some time now.
A while ago, a leading online media portal, reported that Milind and Ankita are set to get hitched in 2018, after Milind paid a visit to Ankita’s parents at Guwahati. A source in that report had remarked, “Milind timed his visit to coincide with Ankita’s nephew’s birthday, so he could meet her friends, family and relatives, who were in attendance. Now that the lovebirds have the family’s blessings, they will solemnise their relationship in 2018.”
In fact, when asked if Milind’s age is any problem for Ankita’s parents, the source was quoted as saying, “Ankita is almost half of Milind’s age, the massive age-gap was an issue for Ankita’s family but now after having met Milind, they are ready to ignore the age factor.”
Last year, in 2017, when Milind and Ankita’s pictures started getting viral on a regular basis and people started conjecturing about their alleged relationship, Milind had to come out in the open and clear the air. He confessed, “The girl I’m with right now actually likes my restlessness. She accepts that I may be in one place today and a different one tomorrow, or doing one thing today and something else tomorrow. In fact, she’s a bit like that (the two live in separate cities)."
For the uninitiated ones, Milind is a model and a film actor who has appeared many Hindi and Tamil films. Ankita, on the other hand, is a Cabin Crew Executive with Air Asia. Considering that Ankita is half the Milind’s age, the couple has always faced severe trolling on social media. To this, Milind once said, “A relationship, it’s about both the people. And I don’t consider age at all for anything — whether its relationships, fitness or health or whatever.”
To another leading daily, he said, "I don’t really bother about it all. The people who talk about it don’t really know us, so it’s actually amusing."
Well, rightly said Milind! It’s all about love and then age barely matters. After Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar’s engagement, we can’t wait more for their wedding.
