He became an instant crush of every teenage girl back then, and with those salt and pepper looks, he can still make any woman go weak in her knees. Milind had broken many hearts when he had gotten married to the love of his life, Ankita Konwar on April 22, 2018. Ever since their wedding, Milind and Ankita had been giving major couple goals to the millennials.
On April 22, 2020, Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar completed two years of marital bliss. Milind took to his Instagram handle and shared a lovely anniversary wish for Ankita. Sharing three beautiful pictures from their wedding, Milind wrote, “My day lights up when you smile, and I will do all I can to keep it that way its 2 happy years today, so happy earth day @ankita_earthy. P.S that's the only day I remember in the last 6 years that you were ready before me. Meri aankhon ne chuna hain tujhko… Dont know why I thought of that one.”
On the other hand, Ankita shared a collage of two beautiful pictures, one from their wedding and one from their recent days. Along with the collage, she shared a long note which can be read as “Then and Now. This day, 2 years back I vowed to be with you and be your partner in everything. So today when you asked if I would climb 300 floors with you to celebrate the beginning of the 3rd year of our marriage, I of course said yes, I was surprised that I could do it with such ease. Although this day was supposed to be spent sipping a fruity drink somewhere far away in the middle of the Indian ocean, this right here doesn’t seem bad either. On February 26, 2020, Milind took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture with his wife, Ankita. Along with the picture, he wrote a heart-melting caption reminiscing their first meeting. His note can be read as “We met this day six years ago. I don't dwell much in the past or think a lot about the future, but every moment with you has been precious, and I pray we will continue to be what we have been to each other. You are the sweetest, and the brightest, and the funniest and the most charming. I love you. Happy Anniversary. #foreverisNOW.”
In an interview with The Telegraph, Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar had revealed many astonishing facts about their relationship and their courtship days. Milind had revealed in the interview that it was the 26-year generation gap that had attracted her towards him. But were Ankita’s parents okay about it? The missus had said, “My mom was a little surprised.” To which, Milind had added, “Her mother is younger than me.” Ankita had balanced the same by saying, “By two years.
