The Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini drama is far from being over. Their affair buzz keeps on getting escalated with new allegations and private details surfacing each new day. The controversy even forced Dianna to quit her job as an NFL insider for The Athletic, and has greatly hampered both their reputation. Notably, Mike still maintains his job as the New England Patriots' head coach and addressed the recent buzz during the 2026 NFL draft season, while Dianna has avoided any commentary regarding it since their initial rebuttal of the affair.
Recently, a past video of a heavily pregnant Dianna Russini headed to a private boat ride with Mike Vrabel had been going viral. Many even thought that she named the child after Mike Vrabel. However, shutting down the online chatter, Dianne's family recently revealed that the name 'Michael' was chosen to honour her brother, who also shares the name. Amid the glimpses from the boat ride and speculations around both Dianna and Mike's divorce due to their alleged affair, fans claimed to have found out his burner social media account.
The affair rumours of Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel deepened as eagle-eyed NFL fans uncovered a suspected X (formerly Twitter) burner account, Mile Masters (ID: @mike_masters199), linked to New England Patriots head coach, Mike Vrabel. An X user made the claims on May, 2026, accompanied by the screenshots of the account's bio and posts, which have since gone viral. Some alleged that the account belonged to Mike himself, while a few were contested regarding it belonging to someone close to Mike. The account gained massive traction online before being abruptly deleted.
Regarding why fans think the account might be Mike Vrabel's secret social media venture, it spent weeks aggressively defending the 50-year-old Patriots head coach amid online backlash over his ongoing personal controversy involving Dianna Russini. The account's deletion after its details were shared made a strong case that the fan theory was real. A post by Whiskey Riff included that the now-deleted account was created back in May 2022 and changed its username in December 2025. All of the account's tweets were related to the Patriots, and it has shifted its stance to tweeting and retweeting defensive comments about Mike Vrabel.
There is no verified information regarding whether the account belonged to Mike or one of his well-wishers. However, the Whiskey Riff report predicted that it most likely didn't belong to Mike. Drawing on the theory, the article stated that many tweets from the account were posted during Patriots games, such as one sent during a game against the New Orleans Saints, when Mike Vrabel was on the sidelines as coach and probably not free enough to tweet. Another post criticising Drake Maye was posted during the Super Bowl, which likely rules Mike Vrabel out as the owner of the burner account.

In the same year Mike Vrabel's alleged burner account was created, Dianna Russini allegedly created a Spotify playlist to cheer him up during a low point in his team's performance. The playlist was titled TURNIN THE PAGE and was shared with a man named 'Mike', leading fans to speculate that it was coach, Vrabel. What solidified the fan theory was a resurfaced report by NFL analyst Jim Wyatt for tennesseetitans.com that detailed Mike Vrabel's 2023 birthday celebration. It included the songs played during the event, and, surprisingly, they matched those on Dianna's playlist.
