Another spine-chilling accident involving a couple has happened in India. After numerous horrific cases, this time it involves Ketan Agarwal, Siya Goyal and her boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary. It all happened after Siya and her lover, Chetan planned Ketan’s death and pushed him off a cliff. Who is Siya Goyal?

Siya Goyal, who has been accused of murdering her fiance, Ketan Agarwal with the help of her boyfriend, Chetan, is only 20-year-old. Siya and her family lived in Bibwewadi in Pune. Like Ketan, she also comes from a strong family background. Reportedly, her family is involved in the dry fruits business. Coming to her personal life, it is worth mentioning that not much information is available about her education; however, reports suggest that she is still in college and completing her graduation.

Ketan Agarwal’s uncle played matchmaker between him and Siya Goyal

If reports are to be believed, Ketan Agarwal’s maternal uncle played matchmaker between him and Siya Goyal. However, a few reports claim that Ketan and Siya’s family already knew each other due to their business circles. In early February 2026, Ketan and Siya exchanged rings and were all set to tie the knot in Rajasthan in November 2026. Reportedly, the families had an estimate of Rs. 14 crore for their wedding celebration.

However, Siya Goyal had different plans. She was in a relationship with a 22-year-old man named Chetan Chaudhary. As per police officials, Chetan’s family also ran a business in the same city as Siya’s family. The two had been in regular contact and used to talk for hours on a daily basis. More than 2000 calls and 238 hours of chat were discovered between Siya and Chetan. Reports claim that Siya and Chetan pushed Ketan off the cliff, so that they could be together.

Siya Goyal’s neighbourhood is shocked by the incident

Soon, after the horrific incident dominated headlines, a resident from their neighbourhood came forward and opened up about the family. It is worth mentioning that currently Siya’s house is deserted with not a single soul inside it. For the unversed, both Siya and her boyfriend, Chetan have been arrested for killing 26-year-old Ketan. The resident shared:

"We did not even know that such a thing had happened. We have not heard anything about it. We played cricket with the family members of the Goyal family when we were younger. The Goyals were Marwadis and owned a business. That’s all the interaction we had with them. But we have never heard about any issues that the family had with anyone else before this at all. This is the first time we are hearing of such a thing in our neighbourhood."

Siya Goyal tried to kill Ketan Agarwal twice

On the surface, Ketan and Siya seemed to be a very happy couple. Days before Ketan’s death, he was seen spending quality time with Siya; however, it looks like Siya never had genuine feelings for Ketan. Before being successful in killing Ketan, Siya had tried once but failed. On June 14, 2026, Siya tried to push Ketan off the cliff; however, he got saved by grabbing bushes. Later, Siya protected herself by claiming that she was saving him from a snake. Ketan believed her and did not suspect any foul play.

Days later, on June 18, 2026, Siya succeeded in killing him. As per reports, Ketan's father revealed that Siya had no reaction after seeing Ketan's body. On the other hand, Ketan's mother, who is heartbroken by the incident, has demanded the strictest punishment for the accused. Recently, she also recalled her last words to Ketan, which were, "Take care of Siya. Don't trouble her."
