Barbara "Barbie" Lavandeira prefers to stay out of the spotlight and has largely kept her personal life private, unlike her famous brother. However, she was recently photographed arriving at Perez's Miami residence shortly after he was taken to the hospital.
In photos circulating online, Barbara can be seen wearing sunglasses and speaking with officers stationed outside the home as authorities secured the property. Officials later clarified that there was no criminal investigation and that the police presence was part of standard procedures to assist the family following the incident.
Most details of Barbara's personal life remain private, unlike her brother's. But what we do know is that she is married, has a young daughter, and lives in Los Angeles with her family. Despite living across the country, she has repeatedly traveled to support Perez during his health struggles.

Months before his latest hospitalization, Perez became emotional while speaking about Barbara after surviving a life-threatening battle with sepsis earlier this year. Recalling the ordeal, he credited his sister with helping him through one of the darkest periods of his life. Calling her his "angel", the blogger said at that time:
"I have to thank my sister for everything. My sister is my angel. I honestly believe if it weren't for my sister, I'd probably be dead."
He also praised Barbara for dropping everything to care for him, explaining that she flew out twice from Los Angeles despite having her own family responsibilities. "If it weren't for my sister, I don't know if I could've gotten through this," he said, adding that the experience had brought them even closer.

Perez Hilton's real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr. Before becoming a celebrity blogger, he was a simple boy from a humble Cuban-American family in Miami. When he started his blogging career in the 2000s (for which he calls himself the 'OG Influencer'), he adopted the professional pseudonym 'Perez Hilton' inspired by Paris Hilton. The Billionaire socialite's fame dominated pop culture when he launched his gossip website.
Perez has previously explained that the nickname began as a joke among friends after noticing clubs would advertise that Paris Hilton was expected to appear, even when she wasn't actually attending. He jokingly remarked, "Maybe Perez Hilton," and the name eventually became the identity under which he built one of the internet's biggest celebrity gossip brands.
Away from his online persona, Perez has often described himself as a devoted family man. He has recently moved to his Miami home with his mother, Teresita Lavandeira, who has helped him raise his three children, Mario, Mia, and Mayte, all born through surrogacy. According to sources close to the blogger, family has always been at the center of his life. Amid his health scare, a source recently told Page Six:
"His main focus is being a good father to his three children and also being a good brother to his sister, Barbie, and looking after his mom. He absolutely adores his family. He does everything for them. His whole life revolves around them. He’s a family man."
After earlier reports revealed that Perez Hilton's family was struggling to get updates on his condition, his family and team recently shared a hopeful update on his official website, saying, "We have also been able to confirm that Perez is able to communicate, which has given our family hope."
