Who is Jared Padalecki's wife Genevieve Padalecki?
Jared Padalecki is married to actress Genevieve Padalecki. The actress was born on January 8, 1981, in San Francisco; she has two brothers, Johnny and Ben, and a sister named Sarah. Genevieve has a solid academic background with a BA in English and a BFA in Drama from the Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. She is well known for her role as 'Kris Furillo' in Wildfire, and has a recurring role in Supernatural as demon 'Ruby'.

Jared Padalecki addressed the backlash he received following his post on Perez Hilton on August 9, 2026 (ET), hours after sharing his original post. He apologized for his post and said, "I didn't know. It's been brought to my attention." The actor has wished Perez well following his hospitalization after a disturbing livestream in which he appeared to engage in acts of self-harm.
While the actor's message focused on Perez Hilton's well-being during the crisis, critics argued that it failed to account for the people who say they were harmed by the blogger's past behavior. Following the backlash, he apologized and removed his original statement. He further issued a new statement that read:
"To give more detail re: my post wishing someone well…I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA about his past. I had heard of him. Obviously. I had heard that he hadn't exactly 'been kind' to me in the past. So, my thought is always to give grace and forgiveness to those who may have tried to 'harm' you…In my experience, it usually works out better than holding a grudge or wishing punishment on someone else. That having been said, I TRULY didn't know ANYTHING about the extent to which he has done. That's my bad."
He further explained that he had not once looked up Perez Hilton or what was on his site and simply believed he was a "sensationalist" type of journalist. Jared Padalecki asserted that he does not stand for what Perez did and was quoted as saying:
"On my life, I have never in my life, not once, looked him up or gone to one of his sites. I simply thought he was a "tabloid" type of sensationalist journalist. I DO NOT stand for, or support, ANY of the actions I just now found out that he has committed. Full stop. I'm sorry if my words caused any harm. And, I hope you ALL are well out there, and taking care of yourselves."
