Supriya Pathak and Pankaj Kapur's daughter, Sanah Kapur had got married to her childhood friend, Mayank Pahwa, who is the son of actors, Seema and Manoj Pahwa on March 2, 2022. The couple had opted for an intimate wedding amid the presence of their close friends and family in Mahabaleshwar. Mayank and Sanah's union was a beautiful one, and pictures from their wedding speak volumes about their love for each other.
Now, in a recent interview, Manoj opened up about his bonding with his samdhan, Supriya Pathak and revealed that they have always been family friends. He also spilled the beans on how his son, Mayank Pahwa and Supriya's daughter, Sanah Kapur, who had recently got married, had gradually became more than family friends. The actor also talked about Sanah and Mayank's intimate wedding.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Manoj Pahwa opened up about his bonding with his samdhan, Supriya Pathak. He revealed that the two have been family friends from a long time and now, they have become relatives as well. He added that both the families used to go on vacations together and said:
"I have a comfort level with her. We have become relatives just now but we have been family friends since long. Supriya and Pankaj ji (Kapur) and their two kids and our kids, we all used to go together on summer vacations. When these kids were in school, we used to go together to Manali, Shimla and such places."
Further in the interview, Manoj was asked if his movies with 'bahu', Sanah Kapur’s parents, Supriya Pathak and Pankaj Kapur played any role in arranging their match. To this, the actor revealed that the kids used to study in the same school, and they had become more than family friends. Soon, both the parents had arranged a meeting and had finalised Mayank and Sanha's wedding. In his words:
"As I said, all four kids used to study in the same school and used to go together on vacations. We didn’t realise when the two turned more than just family friends. Then, my daughter also noticed that it was something more than that. So, things opened up and we had a meeting of parents. We did not have any problem as we knew each other very well."

Manoj Pahwa talked about his son, Mayank's wedding with Sanah Kapur and revealed that there was no concept of ladkewale or ladkiwale. He also revealed that Sanah and Mayank had got engaged 4-5 years ago, but their wedding had got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Sharing that the kids handled the decor and conceptualization, the actor said:
"It was good in the sense that there were no demarcations like ladkiwale and ladkewale, we all were friends and there were no issues. The two got engaged 4-5 years ago and then there was lockdown as well. So one day, they said that they were ready. We only had to play the role of producers and organise it. Rest, the décor and the concept was the idea of the kids."
