As Bigg Boss 17 concluded on January 28, 2024, Munawar Faruqui became the winner of the show, while Abhishek Kumar was the first runner-up, followed by Mannara Chopra. During her stint on the show, Mannara grabbed many eyeballs due to her friendship and closeness with Vicky Jain, as it became a bone of conflict between the latter and his wife, Ankita Lokhande. Moreover, it led many viewers to wonder if Vicky and Mannara’s friendship had become something deeper that would affect his marriage with Ankita. Now, Mannara Chopra clarified that she does not want to remain in touch with Vicky Jain.
In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Mannara Chopra opened up about her equation with Vicky Jain and shared that she had a very normal friendship with him. However, she added that people had a problem with the duo's bond and mentioned that when talkative people interact, they become a topic of discussion. In her words:
“I think our friendship was very normal… But if someone has a problem and they are not even telling me about it, how would I know if there was a problem? I was very confused. If two talkative people interact, they will keep talking. So I don’t know what happened.”

Speaking along the same lines, Mannara recalled an incident when Ankita Lokhande had scolded her and accused her of creating problems in her and Vicky's married life. Reacting to the same, Mannara shared that she felt so ashamed back then that she is not sure if she should message Vicky. The actress added:
“I will not message him because Vicky knows that I am hesitant. Once Ankita scolded me to not create problems between them, and I was taken aback. After this, Vicky was trying to cheer me up, but I refused to talk to him because I felt ashamed. He knows that in real life things would be like that, so me contacting him might not look nice. If they want to keep in touch, I will be happy.”
Ahead of the grand finale of Bigg Boss 17, during the press conference, Mannara Chopra was slammed for her closeness with Vicky Jain and making Ankita jealous of it. Mannara was so hurt by the accusations that she ended up breaking down and started to maintain her distance from Vicky. In the same interview, the actress talked about the same and said:
“I had expected the press to ask generic questions, but they seemed like fans of a different level to me. Certain questions they asked made me feel sorry for Vicky and his mother. Vicky and his mom are very sweet.”

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Vicky Jain was asked about his close equation with Mannara Chopra over his wife, Ankita Lokhande. Talking about the same, Vicky revealed how people misinterpreted his behaviour with Mannara as something off, while he had a good friendship with her. He added that the audience misjudged certain scenarios in the wrong way and said:
“So that was the relationship that I had with people over there. It's just that you live 100 days with them, and you get more close to them. There are people, and we are supposed to talk with them. Only that much is there. When you keep doing that much, there is a question about it. Every coin has two sides. It's either this side or that side. Sometimes things happen, and people want to see the other side.”
