Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt made heads turn as they turned showstoppers for Manish Malhotra's fashion show while doing the promotions of their upcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The duo walked the ramp for the designer in bridal couture and looked resplendent in their outfits. For the ramp walk, Ranveer wore a white sherwani and paired it with a glittery floral printed jacket. On the other hand, Alia exuded royalty in a silvery embellished lehenga paired with a long dupatta featuring delicate flower embroidery.

Now that everyone is talking about Ranveer and Alia's walk at Manish Malhotra's fashion show, a Reddit user digs out some old pictures of their now spouses, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, walking the ramp for the designer in 2018. The user dropped the throwback pictures and slammed Manish Malhotra for his monotonous choice of fabrics, designs, and colours. Trolling the designer for his selection of showstoppers, the user penned:
"The monotony of Manish Malhotra. No risks taken in terms of colours, fabrics or even choice of showstoppers."
As soon as the post was shared on the internet, netizens were quick to react on the same. While one user penned, "Thats probably why he's Bollywood's favourite, coz they don't believe in taking risks too", another one commented, "Same to same". Meanwhile, a third user wrote, "Only Deepika’s first lehenga was good. The following lehengas were boring and gaudy. I think Manish is no longer creative or innovative. Fashion designer, Manish Malhotra recently confirmed that he is working on a biopic based on the life of legendary actress, Meena Kumari. In an interview with Film Companion, Manish talked about Meena Kumari's biopic and shared that the scripting is underway. However, when he was asked about his inspiration for taking up this much-anticipated project, the designer revealed that veteran actress, Rekha motivated him. Moreover, further details about the film, including the cast and release date, are yet to be announced.
