Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge fame, Mandira Bedi tied the knot with Raj Kaushal in February 1999 and 12 years into married life, the couple welcomed their first child, Vir Kaushal. Nine years after his birth, Vir became a big brother as Mandira and Raj Kaushal welcomed a baby girl, Tara Bedi Kaushal via adoption.
It was on June 17, 2011, when Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal embraced parenthood for the first time. This year marks the tenth birthday of Mandira and Raj's son, Vir Kaushal. To wish his not-so-little-anymore kid, Vir on his birthday, Mandira posted a video with the caption, "Happy birthday to the love of my life! There is nothing or no one that I can love as much as this human being. I love you Viru. You are the best thing in my universe. I thank God everyday, many times a day, for you!! @virkaushal."
Last year, on Vir Kaushal's ninth birthday, Mandira Bedi had posted a video, comprising cherishable memories with her little one. She had captioned her post as "Happy Birthday Viru. You are the best of the best in my life. Thank you for being a part of me.. Thank you for being you." Later, sharing pictures from the birthday celebrations, Mandira had written, "What a special special day yesterday was... what a memorable evening we had .. and oh what a cake!"

Mandira Bedi had undergone C-section to deliver her son and revealing how she could not exercise to shed off her 22 kgs pregnancy weight, the fitness freak mommy had said in an interview with India Today, "The needle was stuck there-it was frustrating. I had a C-section so I couldn't exercise, my doctor gave me 40 days to even start doing my daily walks. I counted the days and on the 41st day, I was walking on Carter Road."
Mandira Bedi often shares throwback pictures on her Instagram account and in July 2020, she had posted a then-and-now picture with her son, Vir Kaushal. One was a childhood picture of Vir, when he was a baby and the other one was from his ninth birthday. Mandira had captioned her post as "It’s not a birthday or anything. But a lovely look at #thenandnow #youvcomealongwaybaby @virkaushal."
A few days ago, Mandira Bedi had posted a picture from the hospital, when she was pregnant with her first child, Vir Kaushal. Cradling her baby bump, Mandira was excited to deliver her 'best production ever'. Mandira had captioned her throwback picture as "#Throwback to my best production ever! To the time when being in hospital, also meant good things. When it was #bunintheoven time!"
