Mandira Bedi has been an inspirational actress for many out there. The talented actress has donned multiple hats as per her skills, including a television presenter and a fashion designer. She is best remembered for her acting skills in films like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Dus Kahaniyaan, The Tashkent Files, Saaho along with television shows like Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, CID, 24 among others. Apart from that, she has also created a lot of buzz for her impeccable fitness regimen, and her toned abs and muscular build sets her apart from the league. In her personal life, she got married to eminent filmmaker, Raj Kaushal and was blessed with a son, Vir. Years later, they adopted their baby girl, Tara. Unfortunately, Raj Kaushal passed away in 2021 after succumbing to a massive cardiac arrest.
Taking to her IG stories, Mandira Bedi gave a glimpse of her special day, as she celebrated her late husband, Raj Kaushal’s birthday by organising a havan along with her kids. The doting mommy arranged for a beautiful token of memory for her dearest husband, and lit a candle before his hearty picture. Moreover, in another glimpse, Mandira’s children could also be seen accompanying their mommy in pouring their offering in the havan kund. Along with it, she penned a special note dedicated to her husband and mentioned:
“15th of August. Your birthday Raji, we celebrated you. And the day you came into the world."

In one of her previous interviews with The Times of India, Mandira Bedi had opened up about her husband, Raj Kaushal’s sudden demise. She mentioned that after the tragedy, she stopped praying to God, but added that never did she once question his decisions. Calling everything that happened to her as God’s own plan, and revealed she had no other option than to stay strong. Mandira mentioned:
"Things have happened in my life unexpectedly or haven't gone the way we wanted. In that too, there is some grace and God's plan. I did take a break from prayer but now I bow my head- right from morning when I open my eyes to the lunch that comes in my plate to everything. I don't believe in : Why this is happening to me? Or, why me? I had no choice but to be strong."
In yet another of her previous interviews with the Hindustan Times, Mandira reflected on the changes she witnessed in her life, after losing her dearest husband, Raj Kaushal. She mentioned that it wasn’t easy in the first place to live a life without Raj, and highlighted that she faced a lot of trials and tribulations. Moreover, she emphasised that rather than letting herself sink in grief, she chose to swim to the other side.

On February 14, 2023, Mandira Bedi heavy-heartedly celebrated her 24th wedding anniversary with the absence of her husband, Raj Kaushal. While the day was totally painful for the diva, she had chosen to remember some of the best moments she had spent with her husband. Taking to her IG handle, she gave a glimpse of the same and mentioned how they would have celebrated 24 years of togetherness, if things didn’t go otherwise.
