A man in England was mauled to death by a tiger on October 10, 2026, after he entered the animal's enclosure. The individual, who seems to be in his 20s (some reports say he was 22), lost his life at a Yorkshire zoo under tragic circumstances. Footage of him being attacked by the tiger, along with his attempts to save himself, has gone viral online. Now, new shocking details have come up regarding his final activities moments before the tragedy.

Man danced before jumping into the tiger enclosure, then posed with the animal and asked for multiple photos

In a tragic occurrence, a twenty-something man entered the caged area of tigers at England's Yorkshire Wildlife Park, most likely without permission. On the ill-fated afternoon, moments before jumping into the tigers' enclosure, the man showed some eccentricities, according to witnesses. One of the visitors described the man as seeming "agitated" before jumping, according to a report by Doncaster Free Press.

A female visitor, who claimed to have been observing the victim 20 minutes before the tragedy, said he was having a blast dancing and enjoying himself. Stating that she saw him on the bridge, the witness stated:

"The man who I saw on the bridge with his EarPods in dancing was happily enjoying seeing the tiger."

A third witness claimed that the deceased "psyched him up" for his brave expedition of jumping into the tiger enclosure. According to onlookers, the man didn't think much about the act and just wanted to have a memorable experience, without contemplating its possible dangerous outcome. The man reportedly just wanted to take photos with the tiger, and in videos shared on social media, he was even seen striking poses beside the animal, moments before it attacked him.

In the clips, the victim could be seen in a black hoodie kneeling in front of the tiger and asking fellow parkgoers, "Excuse me, can you grab a shot of myself with the tiger?" Agreeing to take the picture, a woman says "yeah" before the video goes silent and the man thanks her. He then asked for "one more" picture three times, before finally thanking her again, saying, "Thank you, lady." Minutes later, the man climbed into the enclosure, where the tiger circled him on the grass before shaking him like a ragdoll.

A woman claimed to have tried to stop the man from committing the thoughtless act, his final moments revealed

In the footage of the attack circulating on X (formerly Twitter), a woman's voice can be heard saying, "I tried to stop him," as other witnesses said that the tiger grabbed his neck. They also tried to distract the wild animal by making sounds so the victim could escape its clutches. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, and the tiger mauled the man to death.

The man also reportedly tried everything he could to save himself, including pushing the animal away with his legs and saying, "stop" and "no no." In his final moments, he pointed at the animal and gestured for it to go away, hoping it would stop the attack. But as expected of a wild animal, it followed its instincts, treated him as prey, and killed him.

Some onlookers shared that, in an attempt to scare the tiger that took the man's life, "five shots" of a "gas canister" were fired into the caged area. Witness Dominic Ford said that an air ambulance, an ambulance, and "a hell of a lot of police came" after being notified of the incident. Following the incident, the zoo authorities stated:

"We are working closely with the authorities to ascertain exactly what happened."
