The world of glam and glitz is humming the tones of love with Bollywood actor, Arjun Kapoor and his ladylove, Malaika Arora. The couple had not only redefined love for us, but also challenged the societal notion that gives a big 'no-no' to women on falling in love after divorce. And while we love seeing them together, the gossipmongers cannot stop commenting on their marriage rumours. Last month, Arjun had cleared the air surrounding on it. He had revealed how he still wants to discover her muse, Malaika and explore the world together. But looks like the buzz is not going to stop anytime soon.
Recently, in an interview with Zoom TV, Malaika too got questioned about her marriage. To which, the fashionista stated, "I think happiness is a state of mind and yes, why go into histrionics. Yes, I am happy, why have so much explanation, yes I am happy. In the business (showbiz), everybody is at the receiving end of all of this (speculations about marriage). No one is spared of these kinds of conjectures so to speak. Like we have said, there’s no marriage on the cards right now."
Malaika further thanked the media and how they reacted to her relationship with Arjun, and said, "Media has been very patient, understanding and very pro. I have to be grateful to them because they were really understanding. In terms of trolls, that’s a different section altogether, people confuse that." Talking about trolls, Malaika shared, "It’s never bothered me, maybe now I am more vocal than I was earlier. I never was somebody who is very vocal. Now, maybe more vocal than ever in my entire years of working. At times, there are certain things that bother you but I don’t let that get to me. I think I have built this shield and armour to protect myself and I think that’s what keeps me going. I don’t let anything, any sort of negativity affect me."
Malaika also talked about her son, Arhaan and whether he is interested in joining the film fraternity. She stated, "He loves films because that is the environment he grew up in, He loves watching and following films. But what is he going to do about it, I think no one is sure. Because he is not sure yet."
A few weeks ago, Malaika Arora's ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan had talked about their equation after divorce in an interview with the Deccan Chronicle. The actor had said, "We have been together for so many years, and shared so many memories. Most importantly we have kids together, so there’s a respect for each other. There was something that did not work between us so we got separated. However, this doesn’t mean that we will hate each other. We are mature individuals; we are dealing with it with respect and dignity."
He had further added, "I have a good equation with her side of the family too. So if we could not live amicably under one roof, we decided to lead our lives separately. Our son has kept us bonded, and when he grows up everything will be better."
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Malaika had talked about giving love another chance after divorce, and had shared, "It feels amazing! When my marriage ended, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be in another relationship and was scared of being heartbroken. But I also wanted to be in love, nurture a relationship, and this new me gave me the confidence to put myself out there and take a chance. I am so glad I did!"
