And while she has been the flag-bearer of fashion in Bollywood, we can never forget her 90s iconic number, Chhaiyya Chhaiyya that turned her into everyone's favourite dancer. And then entered her younger sister, Amrita Arora, who followed her path and worked as a VJ and then entered the film industry with her debut film, Kitne Door Kitne Paas (2002). After leaving an impact in B-town, the Arora sisters are influencing millions with their fashion game. While Malaika has been upping her fashion game with PVC skirts to monochrome ensembles, her sister, Amrita is not far behind. And one fashion trend that they swear by is a pair of basic blue jeans teamed with a white t-shirt combo. But who would have thought that they will accidentally end up twinning with each other?
On July 30, 2019, Malaika shared a picture with Amrita, wherein, we can see the sassy sisters twinning. Malaika donned a white full-sleeves crop top with a pair of blue jeans. On the other hand, Amrita wore a similar sleeveless white top and teamed it with a pair of side-slit blue jeans. Malaika captioned the picture as, "Accidental twinning with the sis @amuaroraofficial, because we think alike." Take a look at the picture below:
Malaika and Amrita's relationship is just like any other sister, they have always stood by each other and they believe in enjoying life and partying harder from the days gone by. In an interview, Amrita had talked about her bond with Malaika and had shared, "I am extremely close to Malaika and the bond we share is unexplainable. We co-depend on each other and are only happy for each other's success. I just can't do without her. We are always there to help and motivate each other. Like success, we share our failures as well." Currently, Malaika Arora is in a happy zone as she is in love with Bollywood's handsome hunk, Arjun Kapoor. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Malaika had talked about finding love again, and had shared, "From being divorced to getting into a relationship, it wasn’t easy. You want to protect yourself from getting hurt. But I am so glad that I got myself out there. That has a lot to do with this new me. Relationships need love, affection, and nurture. They are hard work. But I am so glad that love happened to me. Being in this relationship truly feels amazing."
She had further shared, "There are a lot of women who want to remain single and that is fine. I know so many women who have embraced singlehood and are very happy. But for people who want to find love again, I would want to say, don’t be scared. Go out there and look for love. Love is a beautiful feeling. Don’t let love die. Don’t let romance die. Give it a second chance. And maybe even a third or fourth or fifth! Until it really works out! Love doesn’t come with an age limit. Trust me on this one."
Malaika had also talked about enjoying her 40s as if she is in her teens, and had stated, "The best thing about the 40s is the 40s! I am 43 and I have never felt better. I am at my fittest, my healthiest, my happiest and my craziest best right now. Many people rue the passing of their teens, but trust me, I would not want to trade my now for my past. My 40s are my teens. Of course I don’t look the same way I did as a teenager, but life is all about growing and evolving and changing with time."
