Soon after her wedding, buzz of Mahira's pregnancy made rounds on the internet. For the first time, Mahira Khan talked about the same, and shared the truth.
Recently, in an interview with a digital platform, MashionPK, Mahira was asked about the weirdest rumour she has heard about herself. To which, the actress quickly replied that she was pregnant. While it wasn't true, Mahira added that maybe they thought it as she had put on weight. Mahira also added that people speculated her pregnancy claimed that she had left a major film, and a Netflix series, which was not true.

After reports of Mahira's pregnancy made rounds on the internet a few months ago, Mahira was quick to issue a statement. According to a report, Mahira denied all such pregnancy rumours in her official statement, which she has shared with Express Tribune. She further added that she has not left the Netflix series and continues to be part of it. Her statement can be read as:
"It's not true that I'm pregnant. And I haven't left the Netflix series."
Mahira Khan's pregnancy rumours were stated on the discussion platform Reddit, wherein they claimed that the actress had backed out from her Netflix series and she is expecting her first baby with Salim Karim. The Redditor also claimed that the baby might come around August-September. Soon the media picked up the news, and it became viral across the world. The post could be read as:
"So, I got this news from a close source that she opted out of the esteemed Netflix project alongside a big film as she's expecting her second child somewhere in August or September. An announcement could be made soon or not if she chooses to announce it after birth but as she's a big celeb and can't keep it lowkey for long, I personally feel that she will announce."
