Mahima Makwana is one of the stunning actresses of her generation. She began her career with the daily soap, Balika Vadhu. However, she rose to fame with her stint in the popular TV serial, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke. For this show, she also won three Zee Rishte Awards. In addition to this, she also appeared in various shows, including Miley Jab Hum Tum, Jhansi Ki Rani, Adhuri Kahaani Hamari, and many more. In 2021, Mahikma made her Hindi film debut with Salman Khan starring Antim. Next, she will soon be seen in the series, Showtime, starring Naseeruddin Shah and Emraan Hashmi.
On February 13, 2024, Mahima Makwana was spotted at an event as she made a dazzling entry. In a video shared by the paps, the actress looked stunning in a black-hued ensemble featuring a plunging neckline. She paired it with a matching-coloured jacket and formal pants. In addition, she opted for subtle makeup, including defined eyebrows, kohl-rimmed eyes, nude lipstick and blushed cheeks. A side-parted open hairdo and minimal accessories finished off her look.

Soon after Mahima's video was posted on social media, a section of netizens became unsatisfied and started commenting on the same. One netizen wrote, "Why to wear such Uncomfortable clothing ???" Another mentioned, "She is so uncomfortable in this dress." One more comment can be read as "What is this nonsense, revealing clothes."

In real life, Mahima is a very fun-loving person. She had also revealed the same in an old interview with a leading online tabloid. She was quoted as saying,
“Actually, I am very extrovert and fun loving girl. Here I would say that whatever you part in a play, you relate it to you anyhow. This role is near to my heart as I relate to it more so I am ‘Atrangi’ in real life.”

Mahima Makwana was rumoured to be dating her Rishton Ka Chakravyuh co-star, Ankit Siwach. A source close to them told TellyChakkar, "Mahima is dating Ankit and is head over heels in love with him. Her close friends and family think that she needs to be career-oriented as her personal life is affecting the show, too. Her career graph has not been so good because of her affairs in the past." However, in an interview with SpotboyE, when she was asked about the same, Mahima shared that the news of her being in a relationship with Ankit was completely untrue. She had said:
“I am not dating Ankit. Everyone talks about the relationship rather than companionship. We share a good bond! That doesn’t indicate that we’re dating! I don't know why do people every time link me up to my co-stars? Laksh and I were never dating either."
