It seemed like a distant dream but we are here inside our homes praying and hoping that we can win the fight against COVID-19. It is a highly contagious disease that has taken more than 7,000 lives till date across the world. While we are practising social distancing, it is our chance to bond with our family and friends and show our gratitude for simple living. And thanks to the celebrities they are helping us fight the quarantine blues with their Instagram stories and posts. And Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali are one such couple. On August 21, 2019, Tara had entered the world of Mahhi and Jay. Since then, their Instagram feeds are filled with adorable pictures and video of their baby girl. The newbie parents have even created an Instagram account for their daughter, wherein, they update their fans about her daily activities. A few days ago, the official Instagram page of Tara had shared a post that talked about how much the little girl is missing her nani ma but she is not able to meet her because of the COVID-19 outbreak.
On March 24, 2020, Jay took to his Instagram stories and shared how Mahhi is working out at home. In the Instagram story, he posted we can see Mahhi doing squats while using her daughter, Tara as weight. Atop it, Jay wrote, "Squats at home, thank god, I have weights available." Last week, Mahhi's daughter, Tara had called her mumma for the first time. She had shared a cute video and had expressed her feelings, "Today my daughter called me mumma.. Its v emotional day for me. This is what I prayed for,I must have done something nice in life to have become mother of such a beautiful child.Tara has filled my life with happiness. First-word MUMMA al I could do is cry with happiness... Tara, you have made your mumma more stronger more courageous n more giving.I never knew how much my heart cud swell until the first time I heard ‘mumma’ love u to the end of forever @tarajaybhanushali". Jay had also shared his happiness on hearing his baby girl's first words. He had written a long note that could be read as "Happiest day for parents after baby born is when the baby starts talking. I tried my best that @tarajaybhanushali says DADA or PAPA first but then I realized that you cant have a competition with a mother @mahhivij. Finally, she won and this morning tara called mahhi MUMMA for the first time and from morning mahhi is teasing me. No worries she will love me more than you that's my challenge ." Isn't it sweet?
Jay is definitely a perfect daddy. In an interview with the IANS, Jay had talked about becoming a father of a baby girl and had shared, "No relationship in the world can match the sanctity of a father-daughter relationship. I wish that my wife gives birth to a baby girl. I have no gender preference and it is not that I won’t like it if it’s a boy. It’s just that I have experienced the father-son connect with my dad, and now, I want to see how a daughter bonds with her dad."
