Motherhood changes a woman’s perspective towards life. She becomes more patient and starts appreciating little things. Television couple, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij’s life had changed forever when the two were visited by a stork on August 21, 2019. The couple had welcomed their little munchkin, whom they have lovingly named, Tara Jay Bhanushali. Since the arrival of Tara, Jay and Mahhi are on cloud nine and their life has been revolving around their aankhon ka taara. After Tara was born, the doting couple had only shared partial glimpses of the little munchkin, and it was on Jay’s birthday, i.e., December 25, 2019, the couple had shared the first picture of Tara.
On May 6, 2020, Mahhi took to her Instagram handle and shared a lovely video with her darling daughter, Tara. In the video, Mahhi was seen lip-sync the Punjabi song, Duji Vaar Pyaar for daughter, Tara while Tara looked adorable as she looked in the camera with her eyes wide open. Along with the video, Mahhi wrote, “Never thought that life can change in just seconds... Tara has literally changed our lives. Sometime back, Mahhi had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a drool-worthy picture of her little munchkin, Tara. Tara had looked like a cotton ball in a white romper wrapped in her mother’s arms. The mother-daughter duo was seen posing for a selfie, where Mahhi was seen pouting for the picture. Parenthood is not a new experience for Jay and Mahhi as they had already adopted their caretaker’s kids, Khushi and Rajveer. On January 15, 2020, Mahhi had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a cute note for her three kids. She had posted a picture of adorable siblings (Khushi, Rajveer and Tara in the middle), and had written, "You three complete me! Khushi, my first child, you'll always be very special to me. You are the best daughter and I m happy that Tara will follow your footsteps. Rajveer my second child the most caring brother from asking visitors to sanitize their hands to making sure tara is ok I love you Rajveer you make me a proud mumma. Tara, we have prayed for you, yes we have prayed for you. You are surprising mumma by each passing day with so much patience. I love you my little one. Thank you, god, for my three angels."
Jay and Mahhi had dreamed of having a baby girl as their first child. In an interview with the IANS, Jay had talked about becoming a father of a baby girl and had shared, "No relationship in the world can match the sanctity of a father-daughter relationship. I wish that my wife gives birth to a baby girl. I have no gender preference and it is not that I won’t like it if it’s a boy. It’s just that I have experienced the father-son connect with my dad, and now, I want to see how a daughter bonds with her dad."
On May 1, 2020, Jay had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared the cutest daddy-daughter picture. He had also written a heartfelt note alongside it, which could be read as "I am in love the way she gives me looks and the way she blushes when I look at her with a smile...its priceless I am a proud father and before posting this picture I was looking at it for almost 30 minutes. @trajaymahhi you are very understanding girl early in the morning even if she is up she waits for us to wake up..she will keep looking at us and wait so that we feed her..she has taken cuteness quality from mother @mahhivij but patience and understanding she is on me."
