Even before she gave birth to her first child, Mahhi Vij had already become a mom as she adopted the two kids of her and Jay Bhanushali’s caretaker, Khushi and Rajveer. With a vow to give them a life to the best of their ability, Jay and Mahhi have been doing wonders with their parental duties. And when Mahhi and Jay had welcomed their first biological child, Tara Jay Bhanushali, remember how their two little munchkins were running about with pink balloons in their hand, shouting, “It’s a girl!”? Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali never leave an opportunity to make Khushi and Rajveer feel special and loved. For the same, on Khushi’s 5th birthday, Mahhi posted a heart-warming note for her little wonder and Khushi and it surely made us all emotional. Her note could be read as “Wasn’t it yesterday that u were a baby in my arms? I looked at your precious face n wondered where life would take you. Today, I look at the person you have become caring humble loving strong... n I realise that the dreams I held in my heart for you are alive in ur beautiful spirit my pride my strength n my weakness I love you with all my heart Happy Birthday @iamkhushiray.”
Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali, both are in awe of their little wonders, Khushi and Rajveer. On October 2019, Mahhi had stepped out with her two little munchkins, Tara and Khushi. While the little one was sleeping peacefully in his mom’s arms, the ‘big sister’ was seen leaning onto her mom, Mahhi as she slept. Mahhi posted a picture of the sight to behold and had written, “When your prayers are answered God gives you the best gift called daughter I feel blessed to be a mother of two beautiful daughters @iamkhushiray @tarajaybhanushali." Last year, Mahhi Vij was unnecessarily trolled for bringing her adopted kids in front of the shutterbugs. But the doting mommy isn’t the one to be messed with. In an interview with The Times of India, she had busted the trollers and had shared, “It absolutely doesn't bother me. Such haters really need to get some positivity in their lives. Over social media, things aren't under ones control and can't alter or filter the hatred or love. I just feel that these people who have been on a spree in passing mean comments against my way of dealing with my kids, feel better when they spread negativity."
Mahhi Vij had also shared, “Firstly, I know how to handle my kids. Their family has been with us for over 15 years now. They are family to us and the kids are adorable. Anyone will instantly fall in love with them. Tomorrow, if Jay and I have our kids, things will never change for Khushi and Rajvir. They are our life. Both of us have thought over this and decided that all our kids would be dealt on the same grounds and platform. Mahhi Vij had concluded by saying, “Both these kids have been destined to have a better life and that's God's plan for them. Jay and I are just the medium. My friends who come over, see how I treat my babies and I absolutely don't need to give any justification or show how I deal with them to anyone else. For the ones trolling, they really need to get something better and positive in their lives to flush out the unwanted negativity from their minds. And as far as publicity gimmick is concerned, I am solely enough to get the publicity.”
