Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava were all set to embrace parenthood in 2018, but she suffered an unfortunate miscarriage a month after announcing the pregnancy. Post-miscarriage, Ankita and Karan moved on with their lives but 2019 came as a delight for the couple as she conceived again and were blessed with a baby girl giving a perfect end to the year. There have been rumours in 2019 about Karan and Ankita expecting their first child and finally, on December 14, 2019, the lovebirds were visited by the stork with their little bundle of joy.
Ever since Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava have embraced parenthood for the first time and had welcomed their baby girl, congratulatory messages have been pouring in for the newbie parents. Karan and Ankita’s close friends, Priyanka Vikaas Kalantri and Vikaas Kalantri visited the newbie parents and their baby girl and announced the little one’s name. Sharing a picture with elated daddy, Karan, Priyanka wrote, “Congratulations to the new Mommy @ankzbhargava and Daddy @karan9198 Mehr is such an angel You guys make a lovely family. Love you guys.” And Vikaas captioned his post as “Congratulations to the new #daddy @karan9198 & #mommy @ankzbhargava in #town. Welcome to the #club guys The hands on KP was a welcome surprise. Lots & lots of love to the little princess.” Isn’t Mehr a beautiful name?
Scrolling through Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava’s tagged pictures on Instagram, we got hold of some unseen pictures from her baby shower. One of the pictures has Karan wearing a dad-to-be sash holding baby stuff in his hands, and the other picture has him, posing with ‘welcome little one’ prop and Ankita holding a ‘team pink’ prop.
Karan Patel had confirmed the news of his baby girl’s arrival in a statement to the media, which could be read as "Am numb overjoyed and a little intimidated the only soul who has given me such emotions all at one go, Ankita is doing well and our families would like to thank each and everyone who has loved us and continue to bless us." Ankita Bhargava's father, Abhay Bhargava had also stated, “We are elated with the arrival of our granddaughter. A while back, speculations were rife of Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava expecting their first child. However, Ankita had clarified the speculations and in a rather witty response had revealed that she is not pregnant. Later, a Times of India report had revealed that Ankita and Karan were all set to become parents in December 2019 and had decided to keep the news under the wraps to avoid unwanted media attention. A source close to Karan had informed, “Ankita and Karan are ecstatic and are busy making arrangements to welcome their bundle of joy. They are looking forward to embracing parenthood. They are keeping the news under wraps to avoid any unwanted attention.”
Karan Patel had tied the knot with his ladylove, Ankita Bhargava in an arranged marriage set up on May 03, 2015. The duo had completed 4 years of marital togetherness this year and their love for one another only seems to be getting stronger with each passing day. Be it birthdays or anniversaries, the couple never fails to post cute messages for one another. On November 23, 2019, Karan had turned a year older and in an interview with Pinkvilla, had bared it all out about how he plans to spend his ‘big day’. He had shared with the portal, “For quite a few years now, my birthday plans are all about staying home and just ring in with dinner and spending time with family. I have done everything crazy I could earlier, now I like staying input.” Karan had also revealed the reason as to why he hasn’t cut his birthday cake for the past 10 years! He had stated, “I haven’t cut a cake for the last 10 years because I had asked for a wish which hasn’t been fulfilled as yet.
