She posted a series of photos from the outdoor proposal, which has left her fans gushing. Amid this, Madison’s statements about how her previous heartbreaks have led her to Justin have surfaced.

According to Madison, her past heartbreaks played a huge role in shaping her current relationship with her now-fiancé, Justin Herbert. She admitted that although she is the type of person who has a lot of love to give, the heartbreaks she faced and being cheated on made her cold. But despite everything, she believes that all of it happened so that she could be together with Justin. She was quoted as saying:
“100%. We talk about it all the time where I’m like, ‘Everything happened exactly how it was meant to and led us to be together.’ I just feel like I have a lot of love that I’m willing to give, and I try not to let that be changed by heartbreak, but sometimes it can change you and make you cold. Even regarding friendships, when I got cheated on in some of my past relationships, it made me look at women in a different way, and I hate that part so much because, of course, I fully believe the man who cheated is the problem and not her.”

A while ago, Madison Beer and Justin Herbert took to Instagram to make a joint post about the engagement on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. The post featured several photos and clips from the romantic outdoor proposal. Madison kept the caption sweet and short, writing, “Meet my fiancé.”
In one of the pictures, the NFL star can be seen down on one knee and under an arbour filled with greenery and flowers. Another snap featured Madison over Justin’s shoulder while she happily lifted her hand with the engagement ring and showed off the beauty.
Other photos of the couple showed them kissing and dancing, all while having the biggest smiles on their faces. However, the shot that caught the most attention was one that showed a wooden sign that read, “Mr. and Mrs. Herbert.”
After the proposal, Madison and Justin FaceTimed the singer’s mom, Tracie. In an Instagram post on July 28, 2026, she shared a screenshot where the couple could be seen revealing the big news over the video call. Revealing how excited she is over her daughter’s engagement, Tracie wrote:
“All a mother wants is for her child to be happy. I’m so elated and fulfilled…my daughter has met the man of her dreams. Such comfort in knowing he will protect and love her forever. Some things are meant to be, and this is certainly one of them! Congratulations @justinherbert & @madisonbeer.”
For those unaware, Madison and Justin had first sparked romance rumors in August 2025. This was after Justin was seen spending time with the singer at a photo shoot. In the same month, they were also photographed walking together in LA. Fans became sure that they were dating when the duo was spotted kissing at SoFi Stadium in LA.
Most recently, during her appearance on the Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast, Madison gushed about how the NFL star came into her life “at the perfect time.” She said, “When I’m having a convo with my boyfriend, my hair could be on fire, and I wouldn’t notice. And to be honest with you, he’s the first person I’ve ever felt that way about. Like, the world could be ending around me, and I wouldn’t realize.”
