For Price, the Porsche was more than another luxury vehicle. She said the car had been a longtime dream, and one of her most devoted subscribers knew exactly how much it meant to her. Speaking about her enthusiasm for the car, she told The Blast:
"I have one subscriber who has been unbelievably good to me, and he knew this car was the dream. So when he sent me the money to go get exactly the one I wanted, I honestly couldn't believe it. I'd been working really hard for a long time, and that was the first moment I really felt like it was paying off."
With the USD 400K, Maddie was able to purchase the Porsche 911 GT3 RS she had been hoping to own for a long time. However, the excitement surrounding her dream car soon gave way to a frightening driving mishap.
In a video posted on her Instagram handle, Price humorously reflected on how her dream car crashed into a tree shortly after she started on her drive. The reel begins with an older clip of Price admiring the gray Porsche at a dealership. The footage, which she said was from two months earlier, features the caption: "I'm gonna buy my dream USD 400k supercar & prove women can drive too."
The video then cuts to her driving the Porsche along a tree-lined road. The car's rear swings out, and it fishtails off the pavement before coming to a stop against a tree. She also poked fun at her earlier declaration in the Instagram caption, writing, "Back to the kitchen I go."
Despite the dramatic footage, Price said she was not hurt. She told The Blast, "I'm totally fine. The Porsche took it worse than I did. That's my baby, so I was definitely crushed when it happened. She has already fixed and back where she belongs, though."
