Madalsa Sharma is one of the most popular faces in the television industry at the moment. She has been winning hearts with the portrayal of her on-screen character, ‘Kavya’ in the hit serial, Anupama, which boasts of a thronging fan base. However, apart from her identity as a brilliant actress, she is also known for her identity with respect to her personal life. For the unversed, Madalsa is married to legendary actor, Mithun Chakraborty’s son, Mahaakshay Chakraborty. Recently, the diva revealed some heartwarming tidbits about her personal life.
In an interaction with BollywoodLife, Madalsa Sharma opened up on her equation with her in-laws post her marriage to Mahaakshay. Well, it needs no description that the diva has been married off to a family of esteemed actors, including her in-laws and husband. Talking more about the same, Madalsa narrated how it was her father-in-law, Mithun Chakraborty who inspired her to not give up on her work. Recalling her heartfelt conversation with him, Madalsa mentioned:
“My in-laws and husband have always been very supportive of my work. I remember when I got married, I thought of taking a break for some time to settle in. One fine day, my father-in-law came and said that he is aware that I have been working from a young age. He said that just because I am married doesn't mean my career should take a back seat. He stated that if any project or character excites me, I have the entire family's support to pursue it.”

Moving forward in the conversation, Madalsa didn’t miss out on heaping praises for her dear husband, Mahaakshay, whom she fondly referred by his nickname, Mimoh. The actress revealed how her husband values and understands the dynamic nature of her work, and doesn’t really force her to remain in a stringent way. Adding how she too, tries to makeup space between her schedules for her family, Madalsa said:
“What can I say about Mimoh. The more I want to express, I fall short of words. He has been the most supportive husband. He knows I am going to be exhausted by the end of the day as we shoot extensively, and he is extremely careful about it. At the same time, I also make sure to balance everything. Me as a wife, daughter-in-law, and daughter, I know I need to spend quality time as that fulfils my soul.”
Mithun Chakraborty is one of the greatest actors that Indian cinema has ever witnessed. However, when it comes to his personal life, the 73-year-old actor is quite casual and deep-rooted within the family. Talking about him, his doting bahu, Madalsa in one of her previous interviews with ETimes, shared how she has learned so many things from him. Moreover, she emphasised that while Mithun’s fans look upto him as a legend, at the end of the day, he is the most adoring father she could have ever asked for.

For the unversed, Madalsa and Mahaakshay tied the knot back in 2018. Since then, the couple have been excelling in their respective careers, and frequently sharing a glimpse of it on their social media. Previously, in an interview with ETimes, Madalsa was quipped about her plans of embracing parenthood with her husband, Mahaakshay. In her words:
“Yes, even my co-actors on the sets ask me that. Mimoh and I aren't planning a baby yet because we understand that it is an aspect of our lives where we need to be mentally prepared. It is a lifetime responsibility. When Mimoh and I are ready to devote ourselves to parenthood and we feel it is the right time for us, we will have a baby. Right now, I just want to take care of myself and my family."
