'Love Island USA' Season 8 Episode 6, Beatriz Hatz Gets Candid About Her Past With An Older Partner

Beatriz Hatz revealed the details of a relationship from her past

The latest episode of Love Island USA Season 8 started streaming on June 8, 2026. Notably, the episode grabbed attention due to the conversation between Beatriz Hatz and Gabriel Vasconcelos. The former told Gabriel about her past, referring to one of her relationships. Beatriz did not reveal the identity of the person, except stating that he was her ex-boyfriend. Hatz recalled the memories and said:

“I had two adult relationships. I dated this guy for three years but we would break up and get back together. It wasn’t healthy. He was a lot older than me.”

Beatriz then revealed that there was an age gap of almost 20 years with the person. Gabriel also recalled a similar experience, saying that he was with someone who was 52 years old and they had an age difference of 18 years. Gabriel said that the woman knew a lot of things and that they spent some good time together. He opened up about the time when he first met the woman and said:

“I was out and I was having a good time with my friends. She started talking to me and she was hot as fuck for her age.”

Beatriz Hatz has inspired a lot of people over the years

For the unversed, Beatriz Hatz has been active as an athlete for a long time. She has participated in the Tokyo Paralympic Games. Notably, Beatriz was born with a condition called Fibular Hemimelia, where she did not have a fibula on the right leg. Beatriz’s limb below the knee also had to be removed during her childhood.

Before she participated in Love Island USA, Beatriz said that she wanted to be with someone who would praise her culture, considering that she is a Mexican and her mother always spoke Spanish. Hatz mentioned that she was looking for a man who would let her be in her “feminine energy” and was himself a strong person at the same time.

Beatriz Hatz has been living in San Diego, California, for many years. She once said in an interview that she has been a victim of bullying, stating that children can turn out to be mean on certain occasions. She further stated that she even realised the situation of other people who have faced the same thing in their lives. Hatz continued by saying:

“Out in public, I’ll see a little kid who’s got a prosthetic, and I’ll immediately walk over, even if I’m wearing pants, and say, “Hey, you’re just like me. Look, I have one, too.” And their parents always tell me, “Thank you for that. They always feel like the only ones.” When I was little, I definitely felt like the only one. I love that I can be a help and an advocate, even for people who are able-bodied.”
