According to reports, Love Island's weekly talk show, titled Aftersun, will air on Peacock as well. The show will stream every Saturday and feature exclusive interviews with the gorgeous Islanders, behind-the-scenes clips, and more. Along with Tefi Pessosa, New York's beloved Summer House star, Ciara Miller will co-host the weekly talk show, Aftersun, adding even more to the fun. The Love Island talk show will air every Saturday on Peacock to go over all the drama and gossip from the week's episodes.

Vasana Montgomery was removed from the cast of Love Island USA Season 8 days before the show aired

Well, Love Island USA Season 8 saw some drama even before it was aired. Vasana Montgomery was removed from the dating show after two videos of her surfaced online, featuring her using a racial slur. One video shows her singing it along with a song, and the other shows her saying it while playing an arcade game. It was on May 30, 2026 (ET), only days after the cast was announced, that an Instagram page called The Reality Rundown reposted Vasana's video. Following the same, Love Island USA Season 8's team removed her ahead of the big premiere and has since removed her from the show's promotional content as well. However, whether she has been replaced remains unclear. Nonetheless, the show is scheduled to go on and premiere tonight as normal.

What to expect from Love Island USA Season 8?

Love Island USA Season 8 posted the first look of the show's premiere on their Instagram account on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 (ET). The clip featured the first five girls, not including Vasana Montgomery, entering the villa, followed by five guys. The clip also featured the Love Island USA host and former Bravo star, Ariana Maddix, entering the villa in a striking black gown and explaining the group's first makeout challenge of the summer. The ten islanders are then coupled up.

However, no episode of Love Island is complete without a twist, and keeping up with the trend, the teaser showed two "bombshells," a man and a woman, entering the villa. However, while the original cast announcement listed 12 islanders, the first look shows only 10. Vasana's removal explains the initial absence, but it is not clear whether another guy was removed from the cast or if he will join later as a "bombshell."

The Love Island USA Season 8 cast features some interesting people, including Aniya Harvey, Beatriz Hatz, Kenzie Annis, Melanie Moreno, Trinity Tatum, Zach Georgiou, Bryce Dettloff, KC Chandler, Sean Reifer, Sincere Rhea, and Gabriel Vasconcelos. However, he was not shown in the initial video, which might suggest he will later appear as a bombshell.
