'Love Island' Fame, Ciaran Davies Opens Up About Split From Ex-GF, Samie Elishi Amid Her New Romance

The reality show, Love Island needs no introduction. In the past few years, Love Island, that blends romance, breakups, intense drama and unexpected twists has become a fan-favourite show. A few days ago, the show made headlines when Ciaran Davies and Samie Elishi won Love Island: All Stars Season 3. It is worth noting that their chemistry grabbed a lot of attention; however, they parted ways soon after the show. Now, Ciaran came forward and opened up about their split and Samie's new relationship with Tyrique Hude.

Ciaran Davies calls out Tyrique Hude’s earlier statements

Recently, Love Island fame, Ciaran Davies had a conversation with Capital XTRA, during which he opened up about his ex-girlfriend, Samie Elishi’s new romance with Tyrique Hude. Talking about the same, he also called out one of Tyrique’s old statements. For those unversed, Tyrique had shared that he had never met Ciaran; however, the latter revealed the truth. He was quoted as saying;

"I wouldn’t say I’ve met him. I’ve done a Charity football match with him and met him at the NTAs. We’re not mates, he doesn’t owe me anything that I can agree with. I think it was just the way he went about it, saying stuff on stream..there’s just no need."

Was Samie Elishi fake with Ciaran Davies in Love Island: All Stars?

During the same conversation, Ciaran Davies also opened up about his relationship and split from Samie Elishi. Talking about the breakup, Ciaran shared that he is at peace now after his split from Love Island fame, Samie. Further, when he has asked if Samie was genuine and honest with him or not, Ciaran shared:

"Truth be told, I don’t think she was fake in there. When we were in the villa, we did get along really, really well. No, I don’t think it’s a PR move, I do think it’s a genuine relationship. Whilst I was in there, Tyrique was saying a lot about how much he fancied Samie."

Samie Elishi confirms romance with Tyrique Hude

According to a report by Cosmopolitan, Tyrique and Samie first crossed paths in 2020. Years later, in 2024, Tyrique revealed that he had always had Samie in his mind and would like a bond with her. Reportedly, when Samie and Ciaran were dating, Tyrique had tried his luck again by sending flowers. However, after the breakup, Tyrique tried his luck and they eventually came in a relationship. In early April 2026, they hard-launched their relationship on Instagram. It is worth noting that their relationship faced some backlash. Addressing the backlash, Tyrique once shared:

"You lot voting for them to win, hold the L. They didn’t even get much screen time anyway…next time pick a better winner. I don’t know him…the game is kinda the game. Samie’s not even fully liked by the public. If I wanted to do it for clout or PR surely I’d go for someone that I know is very well liked. I don’t need to be in a PR relationship."
