Amid the buzz around the show and its contestants, have you ever wondered about how much the stars get paid on the reality show? Well, if you are curious about it, we've got you covered!
While the makers and producers of Love Island USA haven’t confirmed anything, multiple reports suggest that the contestants of the show receive nearly USD 500 per week. A few reports also claim that the salary given to contestants is a basic stipend to support them since they are away from their jobs.

Recently, a former Love Island contestant named Demi Jones had a conversation with Cosmopolitan, during which she revealed that all the contestants are paid during the shooting of the reality show. She shared, "Yes, you do get paid to go on the show." Further, she revealed that during her stint on the show, she received a paycheque of more than USD 250 per week. She stated that the salary is paid so that the contestants are able to pay their rent or bills during their journey on the show.

Later, the founder of Azure Agency, Kennedy Meehan also had a chat with Cosmopolitan, during which she shared that after the post, the payment of a contestant can rise to a huge extent, if their social media game is good. She explained, "Some of our girls, straight out of the villa, are making USD 20,000 to USD 30,000 in a month off of, let’s say, five videos."

Apart from her, other industry experts also believe that the real win of any Love Island USA contestant is not the prize money, but it happens after the show, when they secure brand deals, collaborations, sponsorships and more.
