Heirs actress, Park Shin-hye has been a part of the Korean entertainment industry for several years. She entered the entertainment fraternity as a teen artist but now has evolved as the most bankable actress. The actress entered the glamour industry at the tender age of fourteen and is now a proud mother of a baby boy. Park Shin-hye’s first acting debut was with the K-drama, Stairway To Heaven in 2002. The actress was able to impress the audience from the very get go. Her next project, Very Merry Christmas grabbed eyeballs and Park Shin-hye was soon offered her first drama as the lead role in Tree of Heaven. Her big break came a bit later with the drama, Evil Twin. The drama was a massive hit and Park Shin-hye got overseas recognition from it. This is the darma after which Park Shin Hye never had to look back. After this, she kept on giving back-to-back hits.
The journey towards success wasn't easy but Park Sin Hye made it happen. She chose scripts which allowed her to grow as an actress. Park Shin Hye was linked with several of her male co-stars and actor, Lee Min Ho was no exception. While Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye were rumoured to be dating each other secretly, the gossip took off to another level when Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho kissed on screen. This kiss was the talk of the town when K-drama, The Heirs got telecasted. The controversy further escalated when Park revealed that she wasn’t aware that the kiss scene was to happen in their drama, The Heirs. She said:
“I was really surprised. During that kiss scene, I grabbed Lee Min Ho's shirt.”
This statement raised many accusing fingers towards Lee Min Ho, who then in his defence, clarified that he followed instructions from the director. He also added that the kiss was the requirement of the script, and felt bad about the ‘surprise’ kiss. Giving an exclusive byte to KStar, Lee Min Ho stated:
“Since the kiss was the culmination of all the events and emotions leading up to it, there was no other alternative than to do it for real, I did regret that no one told Park Shin Hye beforehand because usually, actresses are given an idea of what will happen.”
The actress had several rumoured affairs in her kitty, but neither she nor her agency confirmed any of her relationships until she confirmed dating the love of her life, actor, Choi Tae Joon. The couple has been dating since 2017, and in 2018, they announced that they were together. The duo has known each other since their university days and were in the same department.
The couple kept their relationship private and hardly shared their personal lives with their fans. They were sometimes spotted in and around the city, but apart from that, their relationship was utterly private. Park Shin Hye later, in an interview, told Soompi in 2020 that announcing their relationship so early on wasn't their plan. She also added:
“It wasn’t our intention to go public with our relationship then, but it happened and it’s been nice. We’re still going strong.”
After dating for five years, the couple decided to tie the knot in 2022. Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae Joon got married on January 22, 2022. Park also announced that she was pregnant. This announcement raised many eyebrows, but the loyal fans were overjoyed with the double celebration news. Park added that she was very nervous when she announced as she feared people's judgement. She further added:
'So I’m very nervous to be sharing this news today, and on one hand, I’m worried that you might be very surprised by this sudden news. But I still wanted to tell all of you first. I am getting married to the person I have been in a relationship with for a long time. He has been a source of support for a long time and embraced all of the shortcomings of the person Park Shin Hye, and I would like to begin a life as a married couple with him.”
The couple had a dreamy spring wedding where Park Shin-hye's looks garnered much attention. She dropped exclusive pictures on her Instagram account of not one or two but four festive wedding gowns. The wedding was private, and only close friends and family witnessed the couple's union.

As soon as the wedding pictures of Park Shin hye surfaced, fans couldn't wait to see the actress as a mother. Park Shin hye did not reveal the gender of the baby until giving birth. A source close to the actress reported to Soompi that she had a lowkey baby shower with her friends. The baby shower grabbed attention when pictures of blue balloons from the celebration surfaced online. Fans started making speculations that Park Shin hye was pregnant with a baby boy. And they were right. Soon all their speculations came true, and the couple was blessed with a baby boy in March 2022. On announcing the baby of the couple, Park said:
“And though I am cautious to say this as it is very early on, I was blessed with a baby. I wanted to tell you before anyone else. I will show you a positive side after I start a family as well. Thank you for supporting my lacking self with your love. It will take some time, but I will work hard to return as a great actress soon so that you don’t have to wait too long. Please stay healthy until then, and I will close my letter here.”
Life has come full circle for Park Shin hye. The actress started her career as a teen actor and has grown up in front of the camera. She is now a mother of a child. After delivering her first baby Park Shin-hye took a break, and is enjoying her motherhood.
