And recently enough, Alia bagged an enormous honour, as she won the National Award for Best Actress for her film, Gangubai Kathiawadi. While she has been grabbing all the limelight and attention for the same, it seems the diva has also grabbed attention for all the wrong reasons.
While pictures and videos of Alia Bhatt’s National Award win have been doing rounds on the internet, it is one special moment of the diva that has caught the attention of her fans. Well, in one of her pictures, the diva can be seen dropping a peck of love on hubby, Ranbir Kapoor’s forehead who candidly clicked the selfie of themselves on his phone. For the unversed, Ranbir had accompanied Alia for her big win, and had been his biggest cheerleader on the momentous occasion of her career.

As soon as the picture of Alia and Ranbir surfaced on the internet, eagle-eyed netizens took note of it and started to express their views on the same. Well, a massive section of netizens were unimpressed with Alia’s gestures towards Ranbir, considering the decorum of the venue they were in. They slammed the diva for having no manners and class, and added that such a PDA was of no use to show in such an honourable position.
For the unversed, to mark her appearance at the National Awards, Alia Bhatt had ditched any designer wear and had simply re-worn her wedding saree, that was designed by the ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. While the diva had normalised repeating outfits, it was later that she revealed the reason behind the same. Taking to her social media handle, Alia dropped a close-up snapshot of her look and added a note atop it, which read as:
“A special day calls for special outfits. And sometimes, that outfit is already right there. What's special once can be special again and again. #Rewear #Reuse #Repeat."

In one of the clips of Alia and Ranbir from the National Awards that has been going viral, the latter can be seen walking away from his wifey, as she got interviewed on the red carpet of the event. Well, it all started when the interviewer introduced the duo as the ‘man and woman of the moment’. That very minute, Ranbir was seen getting a little awkward and slightly moving out of the frame, as he desired that his wife enjoy every moment of her achievement.
