In the picture note, Neelam clarified that there's nothing going on between her and Leonardo. In fact, she has been in a committed relationship with Leonardo's good friend for months now. The model also shared that she was spotted in the same vicinity as Leonardo because she was with her partner, i.e., Leonardo's good friend. Neelam's note can be read as:
"Just to clear up any rumors I am not Leonardo DiCaprio's 'new flame'. In fact, I am in a committed relationship with his good friend, and have been for many months now. The only reason we have been pictured in the same vicinity, is because I have been there with my partner. I hope this clears up all the false stories."

The reports about Neelam Kaur Gill and Leonardo DiCaprio's dating rumours started hitting the headlines on May 30, 2023, when the duo was papped outside a restaurant named Chiltern Firehouse in London. As per the reports by Page Six, Leonardo DiCaprio, Neelam Kaur Gill, and one of the former's friends, along with the actor's parents, Irmelin Indenbirken and David Ward went out for a brunch. The reports also suggested that the actor reportedly tried to hide his face from the paps after leaving the venue, which grabbed the eyeballs.
Earlier a report by The New York Post claimed that Neelam has been dating the actor's good friend, while another report also mentioned that they were spotted at the Cannes 2023. For the unversed, this year, the red carpet of Cannes 2023 was graced by Neelam, while Leonardo attended the same festival for the screening of his film, Killers of the Flower Moon. And the duo was spotted leaving Hotel Martinez in Cannes, France, along with some of their friends, which sparked their ongoing dating rumours.
